Helping to rebuild independence

Offering practical and logistical support to the Marylebone Project in London...

Marylebone Project, London

Helping vulnerable homeless women rebuild their independence, the charity has assisted over 7,000 women in the past 20 years, and runs its own residential units as a Registered Social Landlord.

Bill Everett, the charities manager at Howdens, worked alongside Fiona Hopkins from the Portman Square office to organise the donation of a kitchen to Marylebone's Elgood House - which offers transitional accommodation to around 40 women. This service has successfully resettled nearly 100 women in the past five years.
