As always it’s the people at the front line. People make a company, not slogans, not soundbites, not promotional gimmicks. I keep coming back to Howdens for yes, the great prices, the great quantity, the outstanding products but most of all for the people behind the counter who make me feel so welcome, who make me feel so special when I walk through their door but most of all, who make me feel like I’m calling in to see friends who are genuinely pleased to see me. At Howdens it’s people that matter!

An unorganised shambles

I have to say Berwick Upon Tweed Howdens has become an utter shambles we have bought several kitchens etc over the last 15 years and always had a good experience up until this year we have just bought 2 kitchens and doors skirting etc and have to say getting a straights answer on delivery times and general customer service from Berwick branch is very poor.
