Fantastic, best in the business!

We had a fantastic experience with the Chelmer Store. Dean was great from first contact right through to delivery day. Nothing was too much trouble, he answered all my annoying questions very quickly and professionally and fully understood what we were trying to achieve. Our kitchen has now been installed by a super carpenter, Leigh and we are absolutely thrilled with the end result. The quality of the Clerkenwell range in matt white is better than I expected and even though we have an weird size kitchen, everything fits just perfectly! I never thought we could be so happy with a new kitchen but we are! Very highly recommend Craig and Dean at the Chelmer store to anyone who is considering a new kitchen.

Absolutely fantastic service

Absolutely fantastic service, nothing was to much trouble. A very fast and reliable service. Dean who planned my kitchen did an amazing job and the finished kitchen is better than I could have imagined!

Highly recommend Dean

This is the second time we have used Dean. He was brilliant both times, our first kitchen was a replacement like for like which was the smoothest of processes and the second kitchen was a complete change of layout. We have limited space until we do the extension and Dean really helped to maximize the storage whilst also keeping the kitchen looking airy and bright. He got back to me in really good time, always answered the phone when I called and when we were sent the wrong cupboard by accident, he resolved the problem within a matter of minutes and had a new delivery out to us that same week!! I honestly cannot recommend him enough. We are now buying all our fire doors through him and will be using him again when our kitchen is extended.

From initial design though to delivery…

From initial design though to delivery was first class . Sam was brilliant .. After sales service is not so good , the integral washing machine has not work from day one ( over a month now) . Various engineers ( all different sub contract companys) have been out to fix the problem , the problem remains E08 & E13 fault code . Rang the chelmsford branch again today , asking them to give me my money back or replace ..this was refused & whats more could not give a date when the next engineer would be out ..This is very poor service , asked for manager to call me ...nothing to date ! Not even the offer to pay my laundry bills !

Brilliant Service from David and Craig…

Brilliant Service from David and Craig in the Warehouse. A total breath of fresh air compared to normal warehouse staff. Both are polite, enthusiastic and eager to help, nothing appears to be to much trouble. They have brilliant product knowledge and are not afraid to push Howdens products. They are obviously super proud of the ordered layout of their warehouse and the efficient way they operate it. They realise the importance of customer service and interaction. Absolute credit to Howdens and will definitely encourage me to shop there again. Good friendly service is all to rare these days and it stands out a mile when you receive it. Great Work !! Keep It Up ! Please pass on my comments. Thanks Again Dez

Our priority in updating our kitchen…

Our priority in updating our kitchen diner was to have a full size fridge/freezer installed- we always had a small fridge under the breakfast bar and had a freezer in garage at the end of the garden- not ideal in bad weather! Samantha designed a very impressive kitchen incorporating the fridge/freezer and adjacent to it facing the dining room area a lovely lit shelf unit and cupboard. Overall we were very happy with the service and advice we received and would recommend Howdens to everyone
