Latch handles

Latch handles

Are for internal use and usually mounted on a backplate. They are used in conjunction with a tubular mortice latch. Suitable for use with doors that are of 35-44mm thickness. 

Lock handles

Lock handles

Have a keyhole cut for use where a lock is required and are used in conjunction with mortice sashlocks. Suitable for use with doors that are of 35-54mm thickness.

Privacy handles

Privacy handles

Are used on bathroom doors and in conjunction with a tubular mortice latch. On the inside of the door there is a thumbturn and on the outside of the door there is a release slot which can be used to unlock the door in an emergency. Suitable for use with doors that are of 35-44mm thickness.

Bathroom handles

Bathroom handles

Are used in conjunction with a bathroom mortice sashlock. All Howdens bathroom handles have a thumbturn on the inside of the door and a release slot on the outside of the door for unlocking in an emergency, this complies with building regulations for bathroom locks in commercial applications. Suitable for use with doors that are of 35-44mm thickness.

Rose handles

Rose handles

An alternative to a latch handle, rose handles are mounted on a small round or square backplate. Rose handles can be fitted on their own with a tubular mortice latch or with a matching bathroom turn or escutcheon. Suitable for use with doors that are 35-54mm thickness.

Mortice knobs

Mortice knobs

Mortice knobs are mounted on a round backplate and usually fitted in conjunction with a tubular mortice latch. These can also be paired with a bathroom turn or escutcheon. Suitable for use with doors that are 35-44mm thickness.

Euro/oval profile handles

Euro/oval profile handles

Are used mainly in commercial settings. They have an enlarged euro or oval profile keyhole shape cut out of the backplate which is used to house a key operated cylinder. They are used in conjunction with a cylinder lock.

Disabled access handle

Disabled access handle

Are used on bathroom doors. On the inside of the door there is a lever and on the outside of the door there is a release slot which can be used to unlock the door in an emergency. Suitable for use with doors that are of 40-54mm thickness.
