A big thank you to Howdens

Howdens have very kindly donated a fridge freezer to our Special Educational Needs provision for students with severe learning difficulties and complex needs at Alton College. This will support the delivery of our 'Plan, shop & cook lessons where students learn to shop on a budget, prevent food waste and promote awareness of safe storage of foods. Great communication and a very friendly delivery team. A big thank you to Howdens from 'The Independence Hub'.

Good service, not so good products anymore!

Alton branch try to do their best, but are currently being let down by shoddy quality control with for instance badly manufactured carcasses being made 'out of square's, and up to 2mm difference in widths and heights! Come on Howdens sort it out & bring yours back up to standard to match Wrens cabinet quality!!

Really great experience of Howdens-Alton. Helpful, experienced kitchen designer. I was able to have time with her, designing the kitchen together and seeing the actual products. Any queries answered promptly. I am very thrilled with my new kitchen.

Katie and Chrissy were great.

Katie and Chrissy were great. My first renovation project required a new kitchen. My budget was already extremely stretched and I was not sure exactly what I wanted. Katie found some time to see me on the same day and designed a pretty, bijoux kitchen for the small space I had available. Wisely not trusting my measurements she popped over that afternoon to check everything and then provided a generous discount to take me over the finishing line. Thank you for the excellent service and product.

We have tried to order wardrobe doors…

We have tried to order wardrobe doors x3 but each time they arrive damaged It has cost us money to pay builders to collect them N they are damaged! Three times now this has happened Originally Chrissy at Alton was going to charge us for two delivery which were damaged I am about to order a kitchen but have serious doubts Pat Gruber

A Great Service

We were first in touch with Katie at the Alton Branch in April regarding upgrading the kitchen and fitting out the Laundry. Katie was so helpful in seeing us right through the process. She made sure we'd considered everything and nothing was too much trouble. Whenever I needed to contact the Alton branch, the other members of staff I spoke to were friendly, polite and always helpful. I will definitely be returning here as we upgrade the rest of the house and I would highly recommend Howdens in Alton to others. It's been stress free and a pleasure.

Exceeded Expectations

From the very first time we visited Howdens in Alton, Katie Adlam was welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. She was able to listen to our ideas, offer guidance and alternatives and interpret them into a kitchen design that exceeded all our expectations. To then see this design through to completion was nothing short of amazing. I would highly recommend Howdens Katie you are an absolute credit to Howdens and can't thank you enough for all that you did.
