Whistling gas hob not fixed. Poor quality and poor CS

Update. 2 months after saying my complaint would be passed cs I followed this up as I have heard nothing. The representative just said I can contact cs. Very poor. UPDATE APPARENTLY A WHISTLING HOB IS NORMAL AND THEY WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT THIS. SHAME ON YOU. Our gas engineer fitted a gas hob from Howdens for us. The largest of the 4 burners whistles when turned down. The sound goes right through you after a while. I contacted our engineer who took some time to come out and have a look and eventually asked me to contact Howdens Brackmills. A man came out to have a look at it and reported back to their engineer that it whistled and wasn’t a problem with the top on the burner. Then their gas engineer came out, heard the whistling but said that it was normal! Very strange. If that is so then it is a very poorly designed hob. I asked Howdens for a refund as the noise is not acceptable. They have refused. I would never trust any of their products again. Thank you for your response. I have just emailed you.

After standing at the counter for some time to get some brackets one of the staff came to help me but only to be told they don't sell what i was after, tow day later i went to other store and got them ?

From design to completion

From the design to the finished kitchen I had a great experience with Hiwdens at Brackmills Northampton. Paige the designer was fantastic, very patient and had a wealth of ideas to enhance my original thoughts. Mitchell the store manager was good to deal with approachable and straightforward. Having been to Wickes and B&Q as well my decision to use Howdens was made because of the personal touch shown by Paige and Mitchell and from previous experience of a Howdens kitchen and I have not been disappointed with my new one.

Not what it was...

We have used Brackmills for years, but recently it's really gone wrong. Our delivery date was missed, then when the delivery did come it was incomplete and many of the items we needed were/are not in stock. The main reason we've used Howden's is keeping things in stock so we can get changes made quickly, but that seems to have gone out the window recently. It's massively effected our business, as we are having to hold people off from moving in whilst we finish the kitchens. Previously, people working at Brackmills have bent over backwards to help us out - even driving to Milton Keynes to get something same day that isn't in stock at their branch. We now don't really have a choice but to look elsewhere for kitchens.
