Howdens Ilford dealt with my purchase and were excellent from start to finish. Jigna runs a professional operation and leads from the front, with a team that support her. Also, special mention to Amit - a "people-person" in every sense of the word - efficient, lively and very personable. Howdens Ilford delivers first-class customer service and are problem solvers, should the need arise. Great work also from Pete, Jack and Brahma. I found him a pleasure to with and in short, they are reliable, organized and professionals in all aspects of their work.

Ilford store

Ilford store - rubbish!!! Had a previous account with them but as nothing purchased in past 6 months they closed it without my knowledge! Went to Ilford branch to purchase kitchen Bosch appliances, hob, oven, hood and sink. No one could be bothered to assist. Said I didn’t have an account so completed a new form. I said I needed items today which they had all of this in stock. Bizarrely told me to come back in 2 hours to ‘hope’ my account may be opened!!! I asked them to call me but of course no one bothered! Waste of time so went to currys which was much much cheaper for same appliances with delivery tomorrow on a Sunday!!! Have another 3 kitchens to fit, will not use Howdens again!!! Update - 02/05/24 Having received an email from Kerry Walker three weeks ago I provided my details to set up an account which has still not been done. Have followed this up with a further seven emails to Kerry Walker and still no account number. Got an email from Navjeet from the Ilford branch saying they were trying to get in contact with me by my mobile, however I have had no missed calls, no caller ID or no withheld numbers!!! This company are a joke and clearly do not want my custom. I wanted to purchase 3 kitchens, 12 fire doors and loads of other items. Howdens loss is another company’s gain. What a bunch of lazy jokers!!!
