After writing a scathing review on another branch I felt it only fair to write a positive review of the Matlock branch. The Gaffer was helping the young apprentice in every aspect. He had loads of time for the customer, He knew what he was talking about and I felt far more comfortable in the surroundings. Perhaps the training given by Howdens on people skills could be improved ? But in the meantime take a leaf from howdens matlock branch you won't go far wrong ! Cheers HB

Excellent customer service.

We had a problem with the delivery , some wrong items sent out, others missing. However this was immediately resolved. Excellent customer service. You can speak to real people , not just emails and robots.

I received an email showing a purchase…

I received an email showing a purchase on my account for a branch I don't use at Matlock. I had to call the branch and to be fair they corrected the error. This has happened a few years ago at another branch and shouldn't happen.
