Internal door construction

Choose from three core specifications, including Standard, Developer door and FD30 (fire resistant for up to 30 minutes). Glazed doors are another option, with all glass toughened to BS EN 12600 or BS EN 12150.

These doors are made from hardwearing, one-pieced moulding facings, bonded to a timber frame and painted with a base coat. Bi-fold versions are ideal for small areas and wardrobes, and we also offer mobility sizes.

Within the 6 Panel grained door range we have every door size and style available.

Advantages of an engineered construction for hardwood doors include
1. Superior colour matching within each door
It is far easier to colour match veneers than it is to do so on solid timber
   components.
2. Environmentally friendly
The timber used to make 1 solid wood door would produce enough veneers to
make at least 10 engineered doors.
Our solid oak doos are of a tongue and groove construction with glued and nailed ledges.
Hardwood door veneers are made from either oak or a combination of oak and local hardwood inserts.

Finishing information
Our hardwood doors are ready for finishing with varnish or stain. Waxes, polishes and oils should not be used on our hardwood doors as they do not seal the doors properly and may cause veneers delamination.
Our Solid Rustic Oak ledged door can be finished with varnish, stain, oil or wax.
