Kitchen and Utility Room Purchase

Having had quotes from 2 other suppliers we went to Howdens to look at their offerings. We went in a few times to look at their showroom and get some general advice. What struck us was that no matter who you talked to the service was always very professional and friendly. We decided to go ahead to get a design done for our Kitchen, a separate Bar area, and a Utility Room. Curtis was our designer and throughout the process he was highly professional and creative, and nothing was too much trouble. Compared to the other designers we used with the 2 other suppliers there was actually no comparison. We decided to go ahead with Howdens and used experienced and professional fitters who already had a good relationship with Howdens. Some small changes were made and were quickly dealt with by the fitters and Howdens. We witnessed how with Howdens having most items in stock the project did not slow down, and this is a key advantage in their business model. Our expectations were actually exceeded and we are very happy with the end result. We can’t thank Curtis enough for all of his expertise and patience in getting to where we are, and not just in the design but right through to implementation. In addition we would like to thank Basingstoke manager Ben who was also totally professional and flexible in all of our dealings with him. Many of his team played an important part, right to their friendly delivery man who made several deliveries to us and nothing was too much trouble manoeuvring around our building site. Overall a great experience and we would highly recommend Howdens.

Brilliant customer service!

I can't praise Kate and Belinda enough for their help sorting out an issue I'd been having with a new integrated fridge-freezer since it was installed 6 months ago. They were both brilliant and due to their persistence, it has finally been resolved. Thank you so much both for all your help.

Excellent service

We received an excellent service from Nic Harris in her designing our kitchen, utilising all the space available. She's very professional, listened to our requirements and suggested a better configuration. The kitchen was delivered earlier than forecast which was a bonus, the delivery drivers were very professional and took great care handling the units. The after sales service was great. All in all, we're really impressed with the professionalism of all the Howden's Liskeard staff.

Exceptional staff and equally amazing service.

We were recently passing through Orpington and because we were close to their Howdens branch and we were in the beginning stages of replacing our floor we decided to stop in on a whim to take a look at their LVT options. I'm so glad we did as the customer service has been nothing short of exceptional. We had the great pleasure of interacting with James Glover and he couldn't have been more helpful. He is a true credit to Howdens and went above and beyond to help us all the way through the process. Aside from being incredibly nice and professional, you can tell that he genuinely cares about the customer experience and truly wants to make things as easy as possible for everyone he deals with. Renovation is always a bit stressful so when you are fortunate enough to interact with people like James and all of the fantastic staff at Howdens in Orpington, it goes a long way to alleviate some of that stress! Special mention must also go to the wonderful and charming Monica who has also been so helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to help us solve a last minute conundrum we were faced with! For us, James and Monica have set the benchmark for customer service and deserve recognition for the fantastic work that they do. Thanks so much from Jess and Ian!

Great choice of design and colours

I chose Howdens kitchen because they had good quality units and a big choice of design at a reasonable price. Hannah the kitchen designer at the South Croydon store had some great ideas and helped me choose the layout and design She showed me what the latest kitchen layout and designs were plus all the little design touches that made it stand out.
