Just had my utility room updated and very pleased with the service from the Macclesfield branch of of Howdens. Quality products all round and in particular, the design input from Kathy Silvester was invaluable and much appreciated. Also, the installation by Phil Smith was first class. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail was second to none and could not be faulted. Highly recommended.

Brilliant from start to finish

Brilliant from start to finish! We've just had a bespoke utility room designed and built by Howdens in Macclesfield. Kathy Silvester was our Howden's designer and she did an amazing job of understanding our brief and designing EXACTLY what we were looking for. Some of the units required a bespoke build, but Kathy nailed it first time. The installation was performed by Phil Smith and Boyce, who were both exceptional craftsmen, with a genuine desire to do the best job they could. Even when we were satsified with certain aspects of the build, those guys weren't! They went above and beyond to make sure they were happy that they'd done the best job they were capable of. Can't fault any aspect of the experience and would recommend the Macclesfield branch in a heartbeat!

We had a difficult kitchen to plan for requiring several changes to unit sizes. The staff at The macclesfield branch were realy patient and understanding.. All were helpful and accommodating. Delivery was spot on.

Great service from Lorraine

Lorraine really looked after us at Howdens Macclesfield, for a new kitchen. We went in lots of times to decide on the details, and it was never too much trouble. We saw images of how the kitchen would look, on the big screen. Everything went smoothly, and we were happy with the price we paid too. Howdens were recommended to us, and I would recommend them too! Thanks again 😊

Awful service the manager at Macclesfield is one of the most ignorant people I’ve had the displeasure of speaking to. They design a kitchen with half the stuff missing and can’t understand why you’d complain. Do not use this branch.

A bad experience from start to finish

A bad experience from start to finish: the designer didn't measure the kitchen correctly to begin with, 4 units and the sink received in the first instance were damaged and had to be replaced, the Lamona extractor was very noisy and didn't extract properly and the dishwasher doesn't clean properly. Some of the unit doors had been used before, as evident from the screws marks on them. Complained to the local manager who never acknowledge or responded to it. Only when complained to the CEO, we got a response and refunded the cost of the extractor. All in all a very costly experience and were asked to pay for the whole kitchen in advance.
