Wood Treatment

Wood treatments preserve timber for longer by protecting it from common issues that affect organic materials, such as wood worm, rot, and fungal spread. Some include hardeners, which are soaked into the wood to give it a tougher exterior, whilst others work by simply protecting timber from the onset of damp. For use on internal and external materials, many are supplied with a quick-dry treatment to save on installation time, and there are also solvent-free alternatives for a safer, more environmentally-friendly application. Wood treatments can be used on a number of timber-based materials, depending on its use in the home – whether that is for planks, borders, roofing, or frames.
