Door Linings
To prevent sticking and jamming when opening and closing, door linings make up the inner structure of an entranceway and are used to hide any rough edges, plasterboard or brickwork to give a neat finish. There are two main door liner types to choose from, one with a pre-cut groove for standard-size entrances and one without to allow for a bespoke fit. Both come in various materials and thicknesses, with timber stops provided loose. To achieve a rustic, natural feel, oak door linings are a great option whilst being sturdy and durable. Fire-rated versions are also available to make a property safer in a fire. All styles can be painted, stained, or varnished to match the adjoining spaces, they can be turned into a feature in their own right by finishing in a statement colour.
