Care and Maintenance We recommend that floor mats are used at entrances to the property - this will help avoid abrasive particles damaging the surface, Self-adhesive pads and castor cups should be fitted to furniture to avoid scratching where applicable. Note: Heavy scratching could break the seal on the flooring causing damage, Move furniture carefully to avoid damaging the top layer surface, General cleaning of the floor should be done using a soft broom or vacuum cleaner, Do not use steam mops or cleaners, Do not use abrasive cleaning materials: scouring powders, steel wool, metal brushes etc., Do not leave standing water on the floor, wipe up any spills immediately, Do not use cleaning agents containing wax, polish or oil, Direct sunlight may have an effect on the colour of the floor over a period of time, Use the floor exclusively under the recommended conditions outlined in the instructions

Important Notes Do not install cabinets over the floor, If there is underfloor heating a 5mm expansion gap must be left around the perimeter of the room and any solid objects such as skirting, radiator pipes and cabinets, Must leave 12mm expansion gap around the entire floor including cabinet legs, radiator pipes and door frames, The maximum area without additional expansion joints is 8m width x 8m length, Using a moisture meter ensure the room humidity level is between 40 - 65%. Screed / concrete floors must be under 2% moisture content, We recommend that heating should have been operating in the room for at least two weeks to ensure a stable temperature level, This Flooring Can Only Be Used With Arbiton Multiprotec Underlay (SDH0923)

Installation Notes Not suitable for wet rooms or saunas

Laying Detail Must be laid as a floating floor (see instructions)

Underfloor Heating Detail Floor temperature must not exceed 80°F / 27°C. Turn the heat off for 24 hours before, during and 24 hours after installation when installing over radiant heated subfloors. Before installing over newly constructed radiant heat systems, operate the system at maximum capacity to force any residual moisture from the cementitious topping of the radiant heat system. Make sure that the temperature in the room is maintained consistent between 70-80°F / 20-25°C before and during the installation.
