Kitchen Colours
Colours allow the expression of personality and help to create different moods within a home, so choosing the right kitchen colour is important for a space that is enjoyed by all of the family. Classic colours for kitchens include shades like white and cream that reflect light for a spacious feel in smaller rooms, and work well when combined with timber or timber-effect materials for a serene Scandinavian-inspired theme. For a contemporary neutral, opt for grey which has the versatility to complement a range of decors. Lighter greys have a soft feel and can be easily mixed with duskier hues for a contrasting look, whilst darker greys add a sophisticated touch when paired with metallic accents that replicate the look of precious gold and copper. Greens bring the outdoors in and can be layered with natural materials like stone and stone-effect for an organic look. Blue tones are great for introducing a calming feel and in larger areas considering bolder shades like black will add a refined feel. Each of these colours is available in a variety of styles and finishes to suit any room size and layout.

Our experience with Howdens was Amazing!
Our experience with Howdens was exceptional. James was our designer and he made the whole process totally stress free and straight forward from the coming to the house to measure to the final design plan! The ladies when we phoned were so helpful when we wanted to change the delivery date. Then one of the kitchen cupboards were scratched we phoned and a new one was delivered the next day! Really excellent service from all the staff and we are over the moon with our new kitchen. Thankyou Blyth Store!!

Great service and quality.
Just had my Howdens Kitchen fitted, the service from Kelly G. has been exceptional from the start , I knew I had a 6 month wait for my fitters, they are so good and I was prepared to wait . Any kitchen is only as good as the fitters. In that time I had a couple of small rethinks and Kelly patiently helped me with the changes . I settled for Seafoam with porcelain wall cupboards, plus Lamona appliances . I am beyond delighted with the results. I would recommend Howdens Burton to anyone .

Recently had our kitchen replaced…
Recently had our kitchen replaced through Howdens in Beverley . Overall a great experience, everything ran perfectly to plan - no missing items , no damages etc. Having had our last kitchen for 20 yrs the thought of ripping it out didn’t thrill me but the results did . So pleased with the final result - opted super Matt bronze handless units (for those worried about finger marks - washing up liquid & a sponge removes easily) & Quartz tops ( amazing) . Ian was really helpful and made the journey as easy as possible . Quality and end finish (to be fair as a result of an excellent fitter ) is beautiful . Highly recommend Howdens .

Ruby is an absolute gem!
I don’t often leave reviews but I really wanted to give a massive shout out to Ruby, with whom it was a huge pleasure to work. From the first time we spoke on the phone, nothing was too much trouble for Ruby, whose patience and dedication were second to none. I have always wanted a completely pink kitchen and, with the help of Rubys expertise and eye for design, we managed to come up with a plan my husband loves as much as I do. Ruby made everything fun and straightforward and we felt included and informed every step of the way. Thank you so much, Ruby!

As a young female first-time buyer, I felt respected (which at precious companies unfortunately was not the case) and well looked after from the moment I requested a design to purchasing my kitchen from the Wakefield Flanshaw Depot. Ben was fantastic—he carefully measured and designed the kitchen, explained everything clearly, and made great recommendations to bring my vision to life. He was patient throughout, and I absolutely love the final result. The prices were very competitive, and everyone when going into the store were friendly and welcoming.
