Avoid Howdens own brand (Lamona)…

Avoid Howdens own brand (Lamona) appliances. Got a condensing tumble dryer as part of a £20k kitchen 18 months ago as no branded alternatives available. Appliance has been subject to a 'do not use' mail shot and eventually a safety repair. This was deemed inadequate so still cannot use and awaiting a further repair. Don't want the appliance as not confident that it will not remain a fire risk. Contacted Howdens supplying branch but not interested, took five calls saying someone would call me back (no-one did) before finally being told by manager Matt to escalate with Candy. Zero customer service - frustrating when they have certificates on display commending staff for no of sales achieved at 40% margin. Kitchen units and branded appliances fine!

Quality service

We have just had a new kitchen diner designed and supplied by Howdens at Bamber Bridge, Preston. Our builder recommended them as he uses them all the time. We initially met Matt who is manager, and Alicia did the design. We cannot praise Matt and his team highly enough, the friendly service, excellent advice, and after sales service where second to none, nothing was too much trouble, any issues ( which were very minimal ) were sorted with no problems very promptly. We would not hesitate to recommend Howdens in general and this branch in particular to family and friends, they are first rate. Chris and Jackie Baines

What a fantastic bunch of people at the Bamber Bridge branch, excellent customer service and a wealth of knowledge of products. Nothing is to much trouble for the team they go above and beyond to help.

From my customer picking her kitchen from Howdens to the delivery date was very quick . The quality is very good the kitchen was flat packed but easy to build. the van driver was very pleasant and very helpful all round experience was very good the sales team where very helpful and professional thanks.looking forward to the next one cheers
