- Be stored on a secured Howdens server within the UK, and on Survey Monkey or SurveyMonkey Inc. servers in the USA, Ireland, and Canada as detailed in the privacy policy. Survey Monkey is certified under and complies with the EU-UK Privacy Shield
- Not be transferred to any third parties, with the exception of Survey Monkey or SurveyMonkey Inc., as detailed above
- Not be retained for any longer than necessary. We will delete your personal data after four months.
2022 AEG Rewards Cashback Promotion
How to take part
The AEG Rewards Cashback Promotion is open to all UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man), aged 18 years or over, and who hold a current trade account with a participating Howdens’ depot. Please contact Howdens to check the list of participating depots before you take part in the AEG Rewards Cashback Promotion. In order to take part in the AEG Rewards Cashback Promotion, you must purchase 3 or more selected AEG products between 21.03.22 and 14.05.22 (both dates inclusive) at a participating Howdens depot. Your purchase of 3 or more qualifying AEG products must include 1 oven and 1 hob. You must complete the purchase of at least 3 qualifying AEG products in 1 transaction only. Please contact Howdens for a list of qualifying AEG products before you take part in the AEG Rewards Cashback Promotion. A full list of qualifying AEG products is available from participating Howdens depots or through depotview.
How to claim
To claim your AEG Rewards Cashback please visit aegpromotions.co.uk and follow the on-screen instructions before midnight on 31.08.22. All claims received by the Promoter after 31.08.22 will be rejected, whether made online at aegpromotions.co.uk or sent by post. You must also upload your proof of purchase, issued by Howdens to your business account for your purchase to support any online claim. Failure to do so, will mean that your claim will be rejected. Exclusions
For the avoidance of doubt, Howdens’ trade account holders in Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man are excluded from taking part in the AEG Rewards Cashback Promotion. The AEG Rewards Cashback Promotion is not open to any Howdens’ trade account that is held by or in the name of a Council, Trust, School, Hospital or Housing Association, regardless of whether or not they make a qualifying purchase. You will not be able to take part in the AEG Rewards Cashback Promotion if your trade account payments are not up to date or if you have been contacted (whether by phone or in writing) by Howdens’ Litigation team about an overdue balance on your account. Claims relating to purchases made before 21.03.22 or after 14.05.22 will not be accepted. No claims received by the Promoter after 31.08.22 will be accepted, whether made online at aegpromotions.co.uk or sent by post. No responsibility can be accepted by the Promoter for claims which are not made by this closing date.
Treatment of VAT
For your annual accounting, tax and VAT purposes, any cashback received represents a reduction in the price of the appliances purchased by the business inclusive of VAT. Invalid or incomplete claims and withdrawal of promotion The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any claims that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, lost, damaged, delayed or fail to reach AEG Rewards Promotion, 2nd Floor, 20 Timothy’s Bridge Road, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire CV37 9BF by midnight 31.08.22. The Promoter reserves the right to investigate and undertake all such action, as is reasonable, to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims. The Promoter reserves the right to reject those claims, which it considers, in its absolute discretion, are fraudulent or invalid. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the promotion at any time.
If your claim is approved, your cashback amount will be paid via an AEG & Zanussi Pre-paid MasterCard® within 28 days from validation of your claim. A valid email address is required to receive your payment, as you will receive an email from notification@prepaiddigitalsolutions.com to select your choice of a physical or virtual card. You must select your card within 3 months from the date the email from notification@prepaiddigitalsolutions.com is sent. Your right to the payment may expire after that time. Be sure to add this email address to your safe senders list. If you request a physical card, please allow 28 days for the card to be delivered from the date of redemption. Please note, if a valid email address is not provided, a physical prepaid card will be automatically selected and sent to your mailing address on file. Beko Harvest Fresh Terms and Conditions

1. The reward
£100 value to spend online on fresh fruit and veg in association with The Veg Box Company
a. Customers will be issued £100 in vouchers to spend online at the Veg Box Company. The value issued will be determined by the qualifying product purchased as set out in point 8.
b. Customers must register via www.vegpledge.beko.co.uk and be successfully validated in order to receive their vouchers.
c. Vouchers will be issued in denominations of £25 and can be used in whole or part of.
d. Vouchers are cumulative and any credit not spent can be saved on account for subsequent orders.
e. Vouchers can be used towards any fruit and veg available via The Veg Box Co. these can be pre-selected or customisable boxes.
f. Vouchers can be used against the cost of delivery. Delivery charges vary dependant on location but exceed no more than £3.75.
g. Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
h. All vouchers must be used by 01/12/2022.
i. Due to the current uncertainty regarding deliveries of perishable goods to Northern Ireland as a result of Brexit, the reward partner is subject to change. The value of the reward will remain the same and will be replaced as necessary with a similar alternative supplier based in NI if necessary.
The Beko ‘Veg Pledge’
For every valid claim received for the £100 fruit and veg voucher in the UK, Beko will donate 1 small veg box worth £15 containing 1 kg Potatoes, ½ kg Carrots, Local Tomatoes, 2 Red Onions, 2 Brown Onions and 5 other seasonal items to the Barnardo’s Charity. Other size boxes available depending on household size.
a) The number of boxes donated will be calculated based on valid claims only, invalid claims will be exempt.
b) Barnardo's will distribute the donated boxes to their beneficiaries by liaising with local service centres and identifying contacts who would like to benefit from the initiative. Distribution process is at the discretion of Barnardo's and their decision is final.
2. Eligibility: The Promotion is open to all UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland residents aged 18 or over excluding employees of the Promoter and the Administrator and their respective affiliates or agents, the immediate families of such employees and any other person connected with this promotion (“Participants”). Customers must have purchased a qualifying product within the promotional period below.
3. Promotional Period: This period will run from 00.01 02/05/2022 – 23.59 30/06/2022. All Registrations must have been received by no later than 31/07/2022.All reward vouchers must have been redeemed by 01/12/2022.

6. How to participate: During the Promotional Period you must purchase a qualifying Beko HarvestFresh fridge-freezer from a participating Beko retailer instore or online to claim the reward after the completion of the 14-day return period from date of purchase.

Once you have purchased a qualifying product and have passed the 14-day returns period you must register your details, including your; First Name, Last Name, Email Address via www.vegpledge.beko.co.uk and upload your proof of purchase. You must upload a clear image or scan of the receipt/proof of purchase. The date of purchase, the retailer the product was purchase from, the price and the product description/name must be clearly visible and identifiable.
10. Once registered and the claim has been validated, you will receive an email from TLC within 5 working days to the email address provided on claiming containing links to your fruit and veg vouchers.
11. The user must click on the links, to view their digital voucher.
12. The reward is limited to one per customer, per purchase, per household.
13. The Promoter and the Administrator accepts no responsibility for any claims that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, lost, damaged, delayed or fail to reach the Administrator due to technical reasons or otherwise. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
14. It is the responsibility of claimants to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and claiming their reward. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for claimants failing to supply accurate information which affects acceptance or delivery of the reward.
15. The Promoter and the Administrator reserve the right to require applicants to provide further verification of eligibility including proof of ID. The Promoter and the Administrator reserve the right reject those registrations which it considers, in its absolute discretion, are fraudulent or invalid.
16. Any additional costs which may be incurred in this Promotion in the context of participation, such as internet costs and other additional services that go beyond those described services for the reward fulfilment are not included in the reward and must be paid by customers separately.
17. Your claim will be deemed invalid if (including but not limited to) you;
a. Have not purchased a promotional product during the promotional period.
b. Have not claimed the reward within the allotted deadline;
c. Have not used your reward within the allotted deadline following the conditions specified;
d. Have failed in any way to otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions and corresponding partner Terms and Conditions as determined by The Promoter or the Administrator in its sole discretion.
18. The Promoter and the Administrator reserves the right to replace any reward with one of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond its control.
19. The reward cannot be resold, auctioned or exchanged, is not transferable and cannot be redeemed in whole or part for cash.
20. The Promoter and the Administrator reserves the right to refuse to award a reward or prize or withdraw entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent mean.
21. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of the prize, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these
Terms and Conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
22. Insofar as permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor the Administrator, nor its associated companies, will be responsible or liable to compensate the member, or accept any liability, for any personal loss or injury occurring whilst using the reward or accepting or fulfilling the prize, neither can they guarantee the quality and/or availability of the services offered when using the reward and cannot be held liable for any resulting personal loss or damage. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

24. The Promoter and the Administrator have no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter and the Administrator will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent entry to the promotion.
25. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
26. The Administrator is responsible for fulfilling the reward. Any data captured in the fulfilment of the promotion by TLC UK Marketing will only be used for:

27. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential. For the validation of claims, data will be stored for up to 6 months from the campaign end date, after which it will be deleted. 28. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
29. All decisions are at the Promoter and Administrator’s absolute discretion and are final. No
correspondence will be entered into by the Promoter or Administrator.
30. These Terms and Conditions and any question concerning the legal interpretation of these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of England. Any disputes must be referred to the English and Welsh courts unless you live in another part of the UK, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.

Spin The Rooster Terms and Conditions
Eligibility & entry:
1. This Spin the Rooster promotion (“Promotion”) is being run by The Marketing Lounge Partnership (a company incorporated in England and Wales with registered number 6467245, whose registered office is at The Cow Shed, Walnut Tree Farm, Lower Stretton, Cheshire, WA4 4PG, the “Operator”), on behalf of Howden Joinery Limited (a company incorporated in England and Wales with registered number 00526923, whose registered office is at 40 Portman Square, London W1H 6LT, “Howdens”).
2. By entering the Promotion, entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them.
3. The Promotion is open to current Howdens trade customers only who are permanent residents of United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland only), aged 18 years and above who have purchased any Stanley, Irwin or DeWalt product in 1 invoice between 3rd and 31st January 2023 (inclusive) at participating Howdens depots – see list of participating depots by using the link at term 7 below (subject to terms 4, 5, 6 & 7). 12. Prizes are supplied by the Operator (physical prizes within 14 working days from validation; E-Codes and Vouchers – immediately after validation (in email)), with the exception of:

16. Winners may be required to confirm acceptance of a prize and provide additional information (for instance a delivery address) where necessary to deliver the prize.
17. The Operator and/or Howdens will not be responsible for any delays caused by any third parties (e.g., the postal service and internet service providers).
18. Prizes do not include any costs incurred that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize, including but not limited to travel, insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports or stations, food and drink, spending money, accommodation, tax or personal expenses.
19. Prizes cannot be transferred, refunded, or exchanged for a cash alternative. The Operator reserves the right to substitute a prize (or any part of them) for a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.
20. In the event that there are any unwon prizes at the time the campaign ends, these will be put into a prize draw (“Prize Draw”). All participants who entered the Spin the Rooster Promotion will be eligible for the Prize Draw. Prizes will be awarded on a random basis. For every spin of the wheel an entrant has had, they will receive the same number of entries into the Prize Draw i.e. a customer makes 10 purchases/spins, they will be entered 10 times (even if land on no-win) into the prize draw. This Prize Draw will take place on 15th February 2023. Winners will be notified on 16th February 2023 and sent online prizes via email the same day or emailed a request for their postal address on this date for the physical gifts. Participants will receive any physical gifts within 14 working days from receipt of postal address. Any entries that are rejected by Howdens will not be entered into the Prize Draw. Same rules apply to this Prize Draw as the Spin the Rooster Promotion, as applicable (see above and below).
21. If the winners of physical prizes cannot be contacted within 14 working days to obtain a postal address Howdens reserves the right to offer the prizes to another entrant.
Liability (ATTENTION IS DRAWN TO THIS CLAUSE):
22. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from negligence, or in respect of fraud, the Operator and Howdens, their group companies, their employees, and their agents exclude responsibility and all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law, including in respect of (without limitation): a) any postponement or cancellation of the Promotion; b) any changes to, supply of or use of the prize; and c) any act or default of any third party supplier, which are beyond the Operator’s and/or Howdens reasonable control.
23. Participants will have no claim or action whatsoever against the Operator and Howdens, their group companies, their employees, and their agents, employees, or agencies because of participating in the Promotion.
24. The Operator and Howdens reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Promotion in the event of unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control.
25. The Operator and Howdens, their group companies, their employees, and their agents do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure, regardless of cause, including, for example, equipment failure, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind, which may restrict, delay or prevent the transmission or receipt of your entry or which may be regarded as spam or junk mail.
26. If the Operator or Howdens has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent or un-sportsman-like conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the Promotion or any entry) the Operator or Howdens reserves the right (in their sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry, or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with such activity.
27. An entrant is responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest(s) whilst enjoying a prize. The Operator, Howdens and the prize supplier have the right in their absolute discretion to exclude an entrant and/or guest(s) from participation in a prize if the entrant and/or their guest(s) fail to comply with the directions of the Operator, Howdens or the prize supplier or acts in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others.
General:
28. The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or any other third party and by entering the Promotion you release LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and any other third party from any action or claim or liability arising out of the Promotion. All third-party trademarks and other intellectual property rights are hereby acknowledged.
29. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with the Promotion except that (i) residents of Scotland may also bring proceedings in Scottish Courts, and (ii) residents of Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in Northern Irish Courts.
30. The Operator and Howdens will only use personal information provided by entrants for the purpose of administering the Promotion except as explained below in relation to photography. Please refer to the Operator’s Privacy Policy and Howden’s Privacy Policy for further details. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall restrict the Operator or Howdens from disclosing winner information to persons enquiring where required by law (entrants may object to their information being made available in this way or request the information is reduced by contacting the Operator at dco@mlp.agency/ to the ASA, if required to do so.
31. Where prizes are third party products or service those third parties’ privacy policies will also be applicable, and acceptance may be a condition of receipt of the product or service.
Photography:
32. Howdens may wish to share the outcome with other customers and colleagues. If you agree to have your photograph taken Howdens may use this for the purpose of internal communications (Howdens staff) and external social media activity and external marketing/promotional activity to promote Howdens. You agree that Howdens can use your photograph and any other related content provided by you via our social networks and digital marketing platforms (including www.howdens.com) and other Howdens and third-party print and digital marketing and promotional materials for as long as we deem appropriate. In particular, please see the entry exclusions in Rules 4-7, and the limitations of liability in Rule 29.
About the Prize Draw
1. The promoter of this Prize Draw is Howden Joinery Limited of 40 Portman Square, London W1H 6LT (“Promoter”).
2. The Prize Draw opens for entry at 7:00 am on Monday 5 September 2022 and closes at 4:59 pm on Saturday 29 October 2022 (“Prize Draw Entry Period”).
Eligible Entrants and Exclusions
3. The Prize Draw is only open to current Howdens trade account holders registered and located in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland only, excluding those listed in Rules 4-7 below (“Eligible Entrant”). For the avoidance of doubt, trade account holders in the Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland are excluded from the Prize Draw.
4. The Prize Draw is not open to any Howdens’ trade account that is held by or in the name of a Council, Trust, School, Hospital or Housing Association, regardless of whether or not they make a Qualifying Purchase. Trade accounts held by or in the name of a Council, Trust, School, Hospital or Housing Association are not Eligible Entrants.
5. Employees, staff and other individuals who represent a Howdens trade account holder (“Representatives”) are not Eligible Entrants. Where a Representative enters the Prize Draw by making a Qualifying Purchase (see Rule 12 below), they do so on behalf of the person or entity registered as the Howdens trade account holder. Representatives must be at least 18 years old and authorised by the relevant Howdens trade account holder to make a Qualifying Purchase and enter the Prize Draw on behalf of the Howdens trade account holder.
6. Employees (or family members of employees) of the Promoter and any group company of the Promoter, companies associated with the Prize Draw and all affiliates of such companies may not enter.
7. An Eligible Entrant will be excluded from the Prize Draw if, following the end of the Prize Draw Entry Period, the account holder’s trade account payments are not up to date and they have been contacted (whether by phone or in writing) by Howdens’ Litigation team about an overdue balance on their account.
The Prizes
8. The prizes to be won are as follows (each a “Prize” and together, the “Prizes”):
a) 1 x grand prize for the first name drawn, consisting of a 2022 Ford Transit 350 L3 H2 Leader 2.0tdci-130ps Manual Van in Agate Black with Factory Spare Wheel, Hykee Lock, Rear Parking Sensors, and Fully Plylined. Worth over £38,000, including a minimum of 12 months’ Vehicle Road Tax and £500 towards vehicle insurance (which must be arranged by the winner) (“Grand Prize”), to be drawn at the time specified in Rule 16. a; and

Following which, the next 5 names to be drawn will each win £1,000 trade credit to be applied to your Howdens trade account and used for future purchases made after the Prize Draw Entry Period. As applicable each a “Runner Up Prize”, is to be drawn at the times specified in Rule 16. b.
9. Unless otherwise stated in these terms, all taxes, insurances and/or other expenses incurred in connection with any of the Prizes are the sole responsibility of the Prize winner.
10. All Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable. There is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any Prize (or part of a Prize) with a prize of a similar nature and/or value should any original element of a Prize become unavailable for any reason.

Entering the Prize Draw
12. Eligible Entrants will automatically receive an entry into the Prize Draw when they complete a single transaction with the Promoter during the Prize Draw Entry Period that meets the following criteria (“Qualifying Purchase”):
a. the transaction has a minimum spend of £300 (ex. VAT); and
b. the transaction is for delivery or collection from a Howdens depot in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; and
c. the transaction includes the purchase of any Lamona appliance (“Qualifying Goods”).
13. There is no limit on the number of entries in the Prize Draw that can be earned by an Eligible Entrant and it is possible to earn multiple entries into the Prize Draw in a single transaction. For example, if an Eligible Entrant spends £300 (ex. VAT) in a single transaction that includes the purchase of two Qualifying Goods, this would equate to two entries in the Prize Draw; or if an Eligible Entrant spends £1,000 (ex. VAT) in a single transaction that includes the purchase of five Qualifying Goods, this would equate to five entries in the Prize Draw.
14. An entry in the Prize Draw will be invalidated if any goods forming part of the Qualifying Purchase are returned to the Promoter with the result that the number of Qualifying Goods and/or the minimum spend of £300 (ex. VAT) falls below the minimum requirement for an entry.
15. Entry to the Prize Draw is automatic where the Eligible Entrant (see Rules 3-7) completes a Qualifying Purchase. However, Eligible Entrants may opt out of the Prize Draw at any time by notifying the Promoter at winavan@howdens.com including the subject line “Win a Van Prize Draw – Opt Out”.
Winning Prizes
16. Prize winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries as follows:
c) Grand Prize: all eligible entries earned from Qualifying Purchases made no later than 4:59 pm on the last day of the Prize Draw Entry Period will be entered into the draw for the Grand Prize. The draw will take place within seven (7) days of the end of the Prize Draw Entry Period.
d) Runner Up Prizes: all eligible entries earned from Qualifying Purchases made no later than 4:59 pm on the last day of the Prize Draw Entry Period will be entered into draws for the 10 x Runner Up Prize. The draws will take place within seven (7) days of the end of the Prize Draw Entry Period. For the avoidance of doubt, a winner can only win 1 prize. Once a name has been picked as a winner it will be removed so that winner cannot win another prize.
17. Prize winner(s) will be notified by email and/or telephone within 7 days of the relevant draw date using the contact details registered against their Howdens trade account. Notification will be sent to the person named as the account holder and not necessarily the person who made the Qualifying Purchase.
18. Return of any notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners but the winner is solely responsible for checking their voicemail and email (including spam and junk folders) for a notification.
19. To claim a Prize, the winner must provide the information requested in the winner’s notification within 7 days of the date of the notification. Claims for Prizes must be made in the manner and within the time specified on the notification. Failure to claim a Prize within this time or in the manner specified may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
20. All Prizes shall be made available for collection at the winner’s local depot and the winner (or its authorised representative) must attend to collect the Prize in person. The £500 insurance contribution will be made by cheque made payable to the registered Howdens account holder. The time for collection of the Prize(s) will be agreed between the winner and the Promoter. If the Prize is to be collected by an authorised representative of the winner, the winner must provide the name of the relevant authorised representative at the time of claiming the Prize and the authorised representative must provide proof of identity when collecting the Prize.
21. All Prizes must be collected within 90 days of the date the Prize is validly claimed in accordance with Rule 20. Failure to collect a Prize within this time may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Privacy
22. The Promoter respects your right to privacy and will only process personal data you provide in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and other applicable privacy laws for the purpose of administering your participation in this Prize Draw and, if you are a winner, arranging collection of the Prize. 23. The winner may also be required to take part in reasonable further post Prize Draw publicity for the Promoter, which may include filming, photography or other recordings required by the Promoter (or third parties on behalf of the Promoter) for publicity purposes and you agree to take part in any such publicity. For example, when collecting a Prize, the winner may be asked to pose for photographs with a representative of the Promoter when being presented with their Prize. After the winners have been notified of their winning entry and accepted the Prizes, their names and entries, and photos/videos featuring them, may be displayed by the Promoter in social media posts and other print and digital marketing and promotional materials, which will be globally accessible, in perpetuity.
24. By entering this Prize Draw, each entrant acknowledges that if they win a Prize, their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way, or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting the Promoter at winavan@howdens.com. In these circumstances, the entrant acknowledges that the Promoter may nevertheless disclose such information in full to the UK Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. General
25. Subject to Rule 32, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the Prize Draw.
26. No responsibility will be accepted for incorrect, late, lost, indecipherable or misdirected entries or for any failure of communication resulting from incorrectly supplied information or technical fault of any kind.
27. The Promoter reserves the right to check the validity of any entry and the identity of any entrant or winner, and to refuse/disqualify entry or refuse the giving of any of the Prizes if the Promoter reasonably considers the entry/entrant and/or winner to be in breach of these Rules or applicable law.
28. The Promoter reserves the right at any time in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or supersede the Prize Draw if it believes, in its sole discretion, that the Prize Draw is not capable or is likely not to be capable of being conducted fairly or as specified within these Rules due to events beyond its control (including, without limitation, a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the Prize Draw).

Nothing in these Rules shall limit in any way the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for fraud, or any other type of liability which may not be limited or excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, the Promoter shall have no liability to any person under or in connection with these Rules or the Prize Draw, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any:
a. loss or damage arising from or in connection with technical problems of any kind (including the unavailability of the Promoter’s websites or apps) which may limit or prevent any person's participation in the Prize Draw;
b. loss or damage arising from or in connection with the allocation or enjoyment of any of the Prizes;
c. loss or damage arising from or in connection with any act or omission of any third party, particularly any third party involved in the provision of services relevant to any of the Prizes; or
d. loss or damage arising from or in connection with events beyond the Promoter's control that may cause the Prize Draw to be disrupted or corrupted or may lead to loss of, or damage to, the winner or to the Prizes in transit thereto; or
e. any loss of profits or revenue, any loss of anticipated savings, any loss of or damage to goodwill or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
30. The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by any third party, including any Prize provider or any social media platform. All third-party trademarks and other intellectual property rights are hereby acknowledged. By participating in the Prize Draw, entrants are providing their information to the Promoter, not to any third party. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, social media platforms and other third parties shall have no liability to any person or company in connection with or arising out of the Prize Draw howsoever caused, including for any costs, expenses, damages and other liabilities.
31. If any of these Rules are found by a court or regulator to be invalid or unenforceable the remaining other provisions shall continue to apply. The Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision.
32. The Prize Draw and these Rules shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with the Prize Draw and/or these Rules shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that (i) residents of Scotland may also bring proceedings in Scottish Courts, and (ii) residents of Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in Northern Irish Courts.
Electrolux PalmerSports Incentive Terms and Conditions
- The Electrolux (PalmerSport Race Day) prize draw (Prize Draw) is open to colleagues operating within Howdens depots, and Howdens account holders in the UK (excluding Ireland & Northern Ireland) who are aged 18 or over.
- The prize is the “full day” event at PalmerSport at Bedford Autodrome, starting at 7.45am and ending at 17.30pm, including food and hospitality. Visit https://www.palmersport.com/event-options/full-day for full details of the event. The event will take place in spring 2023 on a fixed date to be confirmed by the Promoter (Prize).
- There are 18 Prizes available in the Prize Draw. There will be 9 winning entries selected in the Prize Draw. For each winning entry, the Howdens account holder and the Howdens depot colleague who processed the winning entry will each be eligible to receive a Prize.
There are 3 extra tickets for Howdens depot colleagues* for the top AEG selling depot, top Zanussi selling depot and the depot with the highest number of prize draw entries. *Winner chosen at manager discretion.
- In order to validly enter this Prize Draw, account holders must purchase the following 3 appliances in a single transaction between 5th September 2022 and 5th November 2022 (inclusive):
- one AEG or Zanussi oven;
- one AEG or Zanussi hob; and
- one other AEG or Zanussi appliance (which can include an oven or hob).
- Any purchases made after 5th November 2022 will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
- All qualifying Prize Draw entries including the invoice number and account number the purchase was made against will be submitted by Howdens to the Promoter by 11 November 2022. Qualifying purchases will automatically be entered into the Prize Draw, unless the Howdens depot processor or account holder requests not to be entered, by emailing applsourcing@howdens.com.
- The Prize Draw will take place on or after the 15th of November 2022 and will be conducted using the supplied invoice/account numbers on qualifying sales as provided by Howdens. The draw will be made using a random number generator, entering the unique invoice and number from qualifying purchases. The draw will be made under the supervision of the Promoter account manager and witnessed by a Howdens appliance category team member.
- The winning Howdens depots will be notified w/c 28th November 2022.
- The winning Howdens depot must immediately notify the winning Howdens account holder linked to the winning qualifying purchase, and request permission (GDPR release form to be provided by the Promoter for signing) for their name and contact details to be provided to the Promoter to confirm and arrange delivery of the Prize.
- The GDPR release form must be returned to the Promoter before 9th December 2022. If the depot does not return the required release form before this date or if the winning Howdens account holder does not give permission for their details to be released or does not wish to accept the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will select a new winner by selecting the first qualifying purchase from the winning depot based on purchase date. If there are no further qualifying purchases/entries from the winning depot, the depot manager can select any account holder from their depot who has purchased AEG and/or Zanussi appliances in the previous 12 months.
- The Prize Draw is for purchases of new products only. Refurbished product sales, evaluation or demonstration unit sales & returned sales are not eligible for the activity. An entry in the Prize Draw will be invalidated if any goods forming part of the Qualifying Purchase are returned to the Promotor with the result that the number of Qualifying Goods falls below the minimum requirement for an entry.
- The Prize carries no cash value, and no cash alternative is available. The Prize is non-transferable, is subject to availability and may not be substituted by the winner. The Promoter reserves their right to substitute any Prize with a prize of equal or greater value than the Prize.
- The Promoter reserves the right to alter, suspend, modify or cancel the Prize Draw at any time without prior notification or warning if it considers it necessary to do so. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or negotiation will be entered into.
- The Promoter is not responsible for any change in the postal address of any winner or for any issues associated with the winner’s failure to take delivery of the Prize. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for any entries that are lost, damaged, incomplete, delayed or rendered invalid due to incorrect entrant data, system, software or hardware failure.
- Subject to point 16. below, the Promoter accepts liability for any loss, cost, liability, claim, or liability of any other nature arising out of or in connection with this Prize Draw. The Promoter acknowledges that Howdens accepts no liability arising out of or in connection with this Prize Draw.
- The Promoter and its agents exclude to the fullest extent permitted by law any liability for (a) any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the acceptance or possession of any Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees; and (b) any taxes which any HIGHER RATE TAXPAYER winner may be required to pay under point 19. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage suffered by the entrant or any other person relating to or resulting from taking up the Prize or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The Promoter will not be liable for failure or delay in delivery or performance of their obligations under these Terms and Conditions in the event of any unforeseen cause beyond its control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure. The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall in any way limit and/or exclude the Promoter’s liability which may not be limited or excluded by applicable law.
- This Prize is taxable, and attendees of the Prize should include the value of the award in their self-assessment tax return, whether they are employed or self-employed. The Promoter will ask for confirmation that the winners are either employed (by requesting PAYE reference number or confirmation from their employer) or that they are self-employed to complete the registration and acceptance for the Prize.
- If the winning Prize attendees are employed by Howdens or are a Howdens account holder and are a BASIC RATE TAXPAYER, the Promoter has agreed that, as part of its commitment to Howdens trade partners, it will cover the basic rate of tax for the winning Prize attendee and their employer’s National Insurance. The Promoter will ensure that the basic rate of tax is paid on the full value of the Prize, so there will be no further tax to pay.
- If the winning Prize attendee is a HIGHER RATE TAXPAYER, the Promoter will cover the basic rate of tax for the winning Prize attendee and their employer’s National Insurance, but it is the winning Prize attendee’s responsibility to account for the additional higher rate tax due through their self-assessment tax return as the Promoter will not settle this on their behalf.
- The Promoter will send a summary of the gross award to all Prize attendees following the event and details of any basic rate tax paid on their behalf.
- Costs of travel and any required accommodation is not included in the Prize.

About the Competition
- The promoter of this Competition is Howden Joinery Limited of 40 Portman Square, London W1H 6LT (Promoter and Howdens).
- By entering the 'Howdens Kitchen of the Year 2022' Competition (Competition) you agree to these terms and conditions.
- The Competition starts at 00:00:01 GMT on 24th October 2022 and closes at 23:59:59 GMT on 6th November 2022 (Competition Period). You must submit your entries within the Competition Period.
- The Competition is only open to:
- An end user that has had a Howdens kitchen installed in their home by a Tradesperson (End User);
- A tradesperson (with a valid Howdens trade account) that has installed a Howdens kitchen in an End Users’ home (Tradesperson), excluding those listed in 5 and 6;
- A Howdens depot that has sold a Howdens kitchen that has been fitted in an End Users’ home, installed by a Tradesperson (Depot);
Provided the End User and Tradesperson are permanent residents of, and the Depot is located in: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and the End User and Tradesperson are aged 18 or over (each an Eligible Entrant).
An Eligible Entrant shall nominate the respective End User, Tradesperson and/or Depot (as applicable) related to the Howdens kitchen in their photograph submission, to receive a prize should the photograph submission win the Competition as set out below.
- A Tradesperson Eligible Entrant will be excluded from the Competition if, following the end of the Competition, its trade account payments are not up to date and they have been contacted (whether by phone or in writing) by Howdens’ litigation team about an overdue balance on their account.
- The Competition is not open to any Howdens’ trade account that is held by or in the name of a Council, Trust, School, Hospital or Housing Association. Trade accounts held by or in the name of a Council, Trust, School, Hospital or Housing Association are not Eligible Entrants.
- Individual employees (or family members of employees) of any group company of the Promoter, companies associated with the Competition and all affiliates of such companies may not enter.
Entering the Competition

- a Depot Eligible Entrant must submit at least 1 (one) photograph of a Howdens kitchen that they have sold to an End User installed by a Tradesperson and a nomination of the respective End User and Tradesperson.
- In entering the Competition and nominating another individual or company and using their name as prescribed herein, you confirm that you have prior written consent to do so, and you are eligible to claim any prize you win and any nominated person is eligible to receive. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition and nominate another individual or company and to check and verify any other information you submit is correct and in the absence of any such proof, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winning entry in its sole discretion.
- Subject to 4-9, an End User Eligible Entrant may enter the Competition by completing one of the below steps (a), (b) and/or (c) in full:

- You can only submit a particular photo once. Submission of the same photo by the same person more than once will result in that repeat entry being excluded.
- You warrant and undertake that the photograph(s) that you are submitting is/are either: your own photograph(s) that you took yourself and that you own all the rights in it/them (including copyright); or, you have the relevant consents and permissions from the owner of the photograph to submit such photographs for the purpose of this Competition and related activity.
- You must not include any person in your photograph unless you have made them aware that you will be posting the photograph in connection with this Competition, and you have their permission to do so, and it cannot feature any person under the age of 18.
- The Promoter will send the full names of the judges to anyone who writes within one month after the end of the Competition Period requesting details of the judges and who encloses a self-addressed envelope for the attention of Social Media Manager to Howden Joinery Limited, The Yard Raunds 2, 100 Scalley Way, Warth Park Way, Raunds, Wellingborough NN9 6RJ.
- Where an entry was posted on Facebook or Instagram, the Promoter will notify the winners by commenting on/contacting the winning entries and asking them to email competitions@howdens.com with their name, contact number, email address and delivery address for the prize. Where an entry was submitted by email to competitions@howdens.com, the Promoter will reply to the winning email entry and ask the winner for their name, contact number, email address and delivery address for the prize. We will also ask for details of the end users, tradesperson and depot details.
- Prize winner(s) will be notified within five (5) working days of the Competition ending.
- The winners must respond within five (5) working days of the notification with their details, otherwise the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winning entry in its sole discretion. Ensure you check your social channels and junk mail.
The prizes
- The submitter of the winning entry photograph shall win a prize and the respective nominated End User, Tradesperson and/or Depot (as appropriate), shall also receive a prize. So, three (3) prizes shall be awarded in total.
- The prizes shall consist of the following:
- one (1) x Tui Holiday Gift Card worth £5,000 voucher for the End User (gift card expires 2 years after the purchase date - card will be purchased upon verification of the winner, additional T&C’s apply see here https://www.tui.co.uk/destinations/info/tui-gift-cards); and

- The respective Tradesperson shall also receive a 'Howdens Kitchen of the Year 2022' trophy.
- You must only post appropriate content. Posts must not contain anything that may reasonably be considered threatening, defamatory, abusive, obscene, indecent, offensive, discriminatory, derogatory, violent, liable to incite racial hatred or otherwise unlawful. Posts must not include competitor products or branding, alcohol, cigarettes, drug paraphernalia or any material that may, in the Promoter’s opinion, damage the Promoter’s reputation, image or goodwill. The Promoter reserves the right to remove or report, and disqualify from this Competition, any entry that it deems inappropriate or otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the terms and policies of Instagram and Facebook and/or applicable law. Howdens accepts no liability where any third-party intellectual property is included in photo submissions.
Choosing the winning entries
- The Competition entries will be:
- Shortlisted by the social media team, including one (1) independent judge, who will shortlist the top entries (max twenty-five (25)) out of all valid entries received, based on the following criteria:
- minimum of cabinets, cabinet doors, handles and worktop from Howdens; and
- fitting quality; and
- image quality
AND THEN
- The shortlist will then proceed to be considered by 3 judges who will choose the top four (4) entries, based on the following criteria:

- The winners may also be required to take part in reasonable further post Competition publicity for the Promoter, which may include filming, photography or other recordings required by the Promoter (or third parties on behalf of the Promoter) for publicity purposes and agree to the use of their personal data for such purposes.
- By entering this Competition, each entrant acknowledges that if they win a prize, their surname and county of residence and winning entry (if applicable) may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting the Promoter at competitions@howdens.com. In these circumstances, the entrant acknowledges that the Promoter may nevertheless disclose such information in full to the UK Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. Intellectual Property Rights
- By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees that, in the event of a win:
- Promoter shall be entitled to announce their name (and/or social media handles if applicable) on Promoter’s offline and online media, (including but not limited to websites, social media), press releases, third party online and offline media; and
- Entrants may also be asked (without further reward) to take part in other reasonable publicity connected with the Competition (Post-Competition Publicity). The End User connected to the winning entry shall allow Howdens and the Tradesperson access to their home on a mutually agreed date and time to produce photography and filming of the winning Howdens kitchen as it sees fit.
- By entering the Competition generally; and, in the event of a win; and, any involvement in any Post-Competition Publicity, all entrants grant to Promoter a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to use (and to grant a sub-license to Promoter’s group companies and other third parties to use) their entry: for the purpose of administering the Competition and prize fulfilment; and use their entry and any other information submitted with the entry and any materials produced as part of Post-Competition Publicity: for internal business purposes, for publicity purposes connected with the Competition and for general advertising, marketing and PR purposes (including but not limited to press releases via third parties to be picked up by the public media). This licence includes (without limitation) the right to edit, modify and adapt the entry and any other information submitted with the entry, and any Post-Competition Publicity materials, to incorporate into or combine it with other materials, and to publish it in any online and offline media, including but not limited to on Promoter’s websites, social media, other digital marketing platforms we use and any third party print and digital marketing and promotional materials.
- You acknowledge that by entering the Competition and participating in any post Competition publicity, you waive all rights to review, approve or receive notice of our use of the entries, videos, photographs and/or other content and agree to waive all and not to assert any moral rights (e.g. the right to be attributed as an author) or similar rights in such content.
- If an entrant submits a photograph of an End Users kitchen they shall procure that such End User grants a licence/waives its rights, to allow Howdens to use the photograph as prescribed by this intellectual Property section, as a condition of claiming the prize.
General
- The prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable. There is no cash alternative.
- The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any element of the prize with a prize of a similar nature and/or value should any original element of the prize become unavailable for any reason.
- The Promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the Competition.
- No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost, indecipherable or misdirected entries or for any failure of communication resulting from incorrectly supplied information or technical fault of any kind.

- The Promoter reserves the right at any time in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or supersede the Competition if it believes, in its sole discretion, that the Competition is not capable or is likely not to be capable of being conducted fairly or as specified within these terms and conditions due to events beyond its control (including, without limitation, a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the Competition).
- Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit in any way the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for fraud, or any other type of liability which may not be limited or excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, the Promoter shall have no liability for any delay and/or failure to perform any obligation to the winner or other entrants that is caused by:
- technical problems of any kind which may limit or prevent any person's participation in the Competition;
- any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the allocation or enjoyment of a prize;
- any act or omission of any third party, particularly any third party involved in the provision of services relevant to the prize;
- any other events beyond the Promoter's control that may cause the Competition to be disrupted or corrupted or may lead to loss of, or damage to, the winner or to the prize in transit thereto; or
- If any of these terms and conditions are found by a court or regulator to be invalid or unenforceable the remaining other provisions shall continue to apply.
- This Competition and these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with this Competition (including the prize(s)) and/or these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that (i) residents of Scotland may also bring proceedings in Scottish Courts, and (ii) residents of Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in Northern Irish Courts.
- This Competition is in no way affiliated, sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or any other social media channel. By entering, you acknowledge that Instagram and Facebook do not bear any responsibility for this Competition and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Instagram and Facebook from any liability whatsoever in connection with this Competition. All information you provide when you enter the Competition is provided to the Promoter and not to Instagram, Facebook or any other social media channel. 5. References to a ‘Howdens Product’ means kitchen cabinetry, worktops, backboards, appliances or sinks and taps, internal or external doors, fitted bathroom products, flooring or any other significant joinery products, such as skirting and wall panels.

Eligible entrants may enter the Prize Draw by: a. posting a photograph of their home including a Howdens Product together with Christmas decoration on Instagram using the hashtag “#HowdensChristmas”; or b. email competitions@howdens.com with a photograph of their home including a Howdens Product together with Christmas decoration mentioning the name of the Howdens Product featured and the hashtag #HowdensChristmas.
9. THIS PRIZE DRAW IS FREE TO ENTER, NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
10. The Howdens Product must be clearly visible in the photograph, so the photograph must be of a reasonable quality and resolution – it must not be blurry when viewed on social media, the website, on a mobile device, PC or laptop.
11. In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw and in the absence of any such proof, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winning entry in its sole discretion.
12. You must only post appropriate content. Posts must not contain anything that may reasonably be considered threatening, defamatory, abusive, obscene, indecent, offensive, discriminatory, derogatory, violent, liable to incite racial hatred or otherwise unlawful. Posts must not include competitor products or branding, alcohol, cigarettes, drug paraphernalia or any material that may, in the Promoter’s opinion, damage the Promoter’s reputation, image or goodwill. The Promoter reserves the right to remove or report, and disqualify from this Prize Draw, any entry that it deems inappropriate or otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the terms and policies of any social media platform and/or applicable law. Choosing the winning entries
13. An independent computer generator will choose 3 (three) winning entries at random from all eligible entries received within the Prize Draw Period within 2 (two) working days after the expiry of the Prize Draw Period.
14. The decision of the random generator will be final.
15. The Promoter will notify the winner within 3 (three) working days of the draw, by: a. Contacting them via direct message on Instagram, if they entered via Instagram; b. Contacting them via email, if they entered via email.
16. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner, but it is the winner’s responsibility to monitor their direct messages and email address (including spam/junk mail) for receipt of the notification.
17. The winner must respond within 3 (three) calendar days of the notification with their name, contact number, email address and delivery address (if required) and must cooperate with the Promoter as reasonably required by the Promoter to effect delivery of the prize.
18. If the winner fails to respond with the required information or to provide the required cooperation within the stated timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winning entry in its sole discretion.
