Disappointed

Mel was amazing, I told her what i needed and how I wanted my kitchen to look and she really listened, she designed it perfectly. The kitchen wasn’t installed immediately, we noticed the fridge was damaged and it was replaced a week later, unfortunately we noticed a dent in the clock area of the top oven but was told we should have reported it sooner, tried to blame the fitter and eventually hung up on me, not having seen it sooner we couldn’t have reported it sooner. I’m sure this chrome fascia could have been replaced. I love my new kitchen but very disappointed about this dent. Does anyone actual read these reviews because the reply doesn’t justify the review!!

New kitchen

My experience was amazing so I felt compelled to write this review. A mention specifically for Mel from Batley branch of Howdens, who was fantastic all round. Meticulous in measuring and planning, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful to help me achieve exactly what I wanted within my budget and time frames. What more can you ask for? Thank you very much!

Absolutely brilliant …

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. I got my kitchen from the branch at Batley and Mel was amazing. I left her to design and I am blown away and am still so excited. They listen to everything you want and do what they can to accommodate. Fantastic.

Charged for something I never received

Called into one of the branches to collect a door which I'd called ahead to check was in stock. However having checked the door over I found it had damage, made staff aware and said I wouldn't be taking it and left it there. Roll on 18 months and numerous complaints with both the branch manager and the accounts department/credit control to get this door credited back to my account. They've seemingly now closed my account as I've refused to pay for a door I never took!

I would like to say a Massive thank you…

I would like to say a Massive thank you to Mel at the Batley branch. Mel has been amazing from start to finish. Mel designed my perfect kitchen and has been there offering support and advice whenever I needed it. I changed my mind many times and the fitting was a challenge but nothing has been too much trouble for Mel. Thank you!

2nd kitchen this year I've nearly lost…

2nd kitchen this year I've nearly lost from Howdens in Batley, extremely frustrating when warehouse/counter sales (I think Si or Simon) gives incorrect advice, or unrealistic opinions on things that simply cannot be achieved and it makes my job a lot harder than it needs to be, I went to Wakefield store recently to vent and not only be told people have moaned before about him doing the same thing, but also that they are cheaper? Unsure if it was tongue in cheek banter or not, but between both stores it's become very unprofessional
