I have been using Howden’s elms for…
I have been using Howden’s elms for many years now. My local branch have been fantastic for both business growth and my customers. Management and staff are Kind Helpful and Friendly. The team at Bedford Elms are great to work with and will continue to work with them for the entirety of my business. The convenient kitchen
The latest kitchen was for a flat on a development of 9 tenanted properties where a tenant had just moved out. Having agreed the design with Mike he allowed me to take the kitchen in stages, ie; base units and worktops and then wall units later, etc. This was most helpful as the property was tight for space.

Howdens Bedford Elm Farm have provided me the experience I was expected from them at the first place. Professionalism, and great customer care are the 2 main mentionable factor here. Fantastic team, Mo, Sofia and Mike did an excellent job to push my order through as soon as possible. Only 7 days passed between the survey and the delivery of my customer’s kitchen. She was super impressed, as well as I was.

formal complaint to regional manager
stephen stewart , 20 Sept at 16:15 Good afternoon Rob & Mark I spoke to Mike Dinz and unfortunately his customer care skills and ability to take on board what the customer was trying to advise him was zero. Hence I am forced to escalate my complaint to your regional Sales manager Mark Snelling. As I explained to you twice today on two separate occasions face to face the quality of service is very weak and people will take the business elsewhere.My kitchen fitter will not deal with Howdens. Mike is arguing "how quickly we are responding to replacing products and delivering shortages." My arguement is that this should n't be happening in the first place. Missing units and faulty units should not be happening and his sales pitch it won't happen we have got a new system. In July 2021 you personally were forced visit my property 4 times and rectify short deliveries and faulty products. Before purchasing the kitchen in Spetember 2022 I sat down with Mike Dinz in his office and he guaranteed me that I would not suffer the stress of last years experience because a new system is being used. He did not want to hear the reality today on the phone, " A worse experience than last year." My wife and I were forced to visit the shop for parts separately. This should not happen. Your delivery driver has visited my property up to 6 times with missing parts. My kitchen fitter is waiting and wasting time. On top of this Mike is arguing with me its only twice and this is acceptable. ( How not to handle a customer call. I said ask your driver.) I am dealing with a pissed off kitchen fitter who has to come for an extra half day to finish off the work and additional cost of £200. On one occasion on the phone we spoke to 3 different people and waited on the phone for over 30 minutes as we were speaking to an inexperienced member of staff and waiting for people to return from lunch. I want compensation for been messed about incurring additional costs. I explained to Rob how I am been treated its making me want to take my business else where as the manager isn't listening. I have also phoned 01604 876-070 but the line was engaged to launch a customer service complaint. I have more busy things to be doing than visiting your office twice today and sending this email. You will loose business in a very competitive market place when delivering faulty units, missing units and faulty units and having an aggressive manager arguing nothing is wrong he needs to talk to his driver and check to amount of times he had to go out. Very impressive service
We'd purchased a work surface which unfortunately was bowed, unnoticed until fixed into position. I telephoned Howdens who replaced, without any fuss whatsover FOC the new work top. I'm very impressed with the staff who handled the call, Angela and another lady, I did try to find her name to thank her also, so sorry about that. First class service :)
