Be very careful when using the online account. We hadn’t received any email invoices from the company having received some extra items after the purchase of a £10,000 kitchen. The first thing we knew was to have a court summons, we rang the depot and paid the outstanding amount immediately. We paid the amount on the account according to what we were asked for by the assistant on the phone. I asked the assistant to email me the invoice and she didn’t bother, never received a thing! About 10 days later we had another demand for almost £150 ! Turned out that there should have been more to pay and they didn’t tell us! Leaving us interest charges and solicitors fees! Not to mention the absolutely vile lady I spoke with in credit control, I tried to reason with her, but there was no chance! £450 of goods and not getting an invoice cost us £270 extra! It was a genuine mistake and I was treated like a criminal. I won’t buy a single nail from Howdens ever! Customer service very bad and I have closed the account with immediate effect. Avoid and go elsewhere!

Still cant access an online account! not a very flexible system when it comes to registration for an account!!! Not a registered company but a landlord that wishes to get an account to replace a large number of kitchens in property owned and it has been as painful as a visit to the dentist! LTD Companies Only your website should say in big bold letters!

Howdens in builth Wells After my recent experience with this firm nothing seems to improve, as you'll see on previous reviews we were subject to a miscalculation for a quote for laminate flooring, which still has not been sorted and I have been issued with papers threatening to take me to court over an unpaid bill which is still in dispute, as I'm still been charged for their mistake and they are trying to slither out of it😡
