Bit of a shambles
We purchased our kitchen through the Howdens Dorchester branch. The design service was good but from there it was downhill. There were numerous things missing from the delivery. The mess up cost us dear due contractors having to return because of missing items. Howdens chose us to pilot a new quartz fitter called Sheridan's, which Howdens had just bought out. There was bitterness between Howdens and Sheridan's, the initial fitting was full of issues, with each side blaming each other. We even had to fill the gaps in the splashback ourselves in the end. The fitter damaged our newly landscaped garden without accepting responsibility or offering any compensation. The cost of the kitchen was also a point of contention. We returned things which were not needed, and while we had some extras we feel we should have received a refund, however the costs were not communicated at all so we're completely in the dark. In the end the Howdens branch could not tell what was sent and returned, so just called it quits which was very unprofessional. Given all the stress, drama, damaged property and additional cost of contractors, we feel Howdens should have offered some compensation for our experience - it was a 21k+ kitchen after all (this was for the supply only).

Had a problem recently but...
Had a problem recently, which I confidently feel has been resolved by the manager Paul (Dorchester branch). My concerns were taken on board and I believe dealt with. I will continue to support Howdens and their products as a result of their pragmatic approach to the issues I raised.
