Do not trust Howdens

Do not trust howdens, do not trust builders who use howdens. Its just not worth it... I've had to deal with trying to return a condemned Lamona hob everyone accepts is not safe to use but Howdens have given nothing but awful customer service They have sent an engineer out to check it, still they refuse to take it back and do their best to fob me off with we will get back to you. Their business is deliberately ambiguous so it makes it so much harder to return faulty goods, even then you'll never know what your builder paid for the items in question. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS

Great Service

I have given 5 stars which is unusual for me, in fact it is rare that I can find the time to write a feedback. However my experience over the last few weeks has been a pleasure so I thought I would make the effort to write. Over the last few weeks I have ordered several fire doors and I made a classic mistake with an extra large door frame and thought I could take more off the sides of the doors than was actually allowed. As a consequence I needed to return two extra large fire doors and insert a new door lining within the existing door lining so that I could use the standard 30" x 6' - 6" doors. The team at Fleet accepted the extra large fire doors back (they were untouched and still in the box packaging) and re-ordered two normal size doors. Knowing that I was now behind schedule they made an extra effort to get me the two new doors the next day. Service one would perhaps expect this day and age but it was the cheerfulness of the staff, both office and warehouse, that much traumatic than it would otherwise be. I don't want to mention any names for the fear of leaving someone out so please accept this as a big tick for the Team.
