Standout customer service
How a company deals with after sales issues, (which are inevitable sometimes after having kitchen fitted) is a testament as to how good a company is. Massive credit to Howdens Irlam , particularly Stuart, in helping solve an issue with an appliance, long after fitting. Highly recommended.

Worst Customer Service I've Experienced
Follow up customer service is the worst I've experienced from any service provider. Fridge Freezer stopped working within the warranty period. Replacement delivered and fitted however Howdens refuse to collect the faulty one. £6500 spent with them and they won't pay £50 for its collection. £50! I'm sure Magnet or Wren wouldn't treat their customers like this. Be warned...

Avoid at all costs!
Horrendous customer service from the word go! Purchased an ex display range over failed after 3 months, the engineer questioned when we purchased as the serial number was so old and discontinued, had to purchase appliance insurance for further piece of mind. Flooring failed after 6 weeks of fitting and now 11 months on STILL refusing to rectify and expect me the customer to deal with their recommended fitter. Fridge door come off the runner - another trip out for the fitter to rectify. Go to any other company if you want decent customer care. A shame really as the actual Kitchen is just what we wanted!

Good service and straightforward ordering system
Ordered a few doors and hardware online for collection from my local branch. System very strightforward and easy to use to get what I wanted. List submitted to local banch and I received a phone call shortly afterwards telling me my stuff was ready to collect. Good service and can't really ask for much more can you?

Irlam store
I had cause to use the warranty on a tumble dryer, after the engineers visit unfortunately it couldn't be repaired. I therefore contacted the Irlam store and was lucky enough to speak with Ian. What could have been a complicated and drawn out process for me to navigate between Aftersales and Store was handled brilliantly. As soon as I spoke with Ian he took over the query, liaising with the necessary departments so that the replacement process was simple for me. He kept me updated throughout and was very helpful. Thank you.
