Dreadful company.
Picked up 4 wall units and doors. Got given a door that had been damaged by a previous customer and send back but didnt get thrown out so it got sold to me. Out of the 3 remaining doors 2 had a big scratch across the front. I went to my branch and out of 3 doors they had in stock to replace mine all 3 were damaged. I then got sent to a different branch and had to go through 7 doors to find 3 that were acceptable. The quality control is absolutely shocking. You pay a premium for a below average product in my opinion. Another incident was doors a few months ago. The quality of the doors is terrible, huge sticker stuck to the lipping thats a nightmare to remove. The handles were so bad quality they were returned and replaced with screwfix handles which were miles better quality for half the price. Another incident. I took some newel posts for a job without checking the price, they were £190 each! That was almost twice the price as the same thing from b and q. Re occurring incidents. We fit kitchens a lot, had over 50 howdens kitchens delivered over the years. There hasnt been 1 single time that the whole kitchen has arrived. Most of the time theres multiple items missing, sometimes full kitchen of wrong colour doors, damaged doors, damaged sinks, wrong size base units, missing all wall units, wrong worktops, damaged worktops, I could go on all day. Im hope you get message im trying to get across here. To make matters worse you get pestered and pestered by the staff calling you up asking if you want the bits you have been quoted for and even been threatened that the price ive been given will double if its not booked out on that day. This is only a handful of examples too i just cant be bothered writing about all the negative experiences ive had over the years.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Franco for everything he has done for us! Franco has been fantastic from start to finish! He has been patient and professional and has done everything we asked, including make changes to the design to how we wanted it and to keep within our budget, he has also kept in touch and updated us when and where appropriate, he has always got back to us when we have asked questions and made enquiries, I am extremely happy with the high standard of service we have experienced and would like to thank Franco for everything he has done for us. Just want to say a massive thank you to Franco from the Howdens Morley store. Can honestly say the whole process from design to completion has been hassle free. Franco was a delight and he was always so professional and cheery. He helped in the design process by making suggestions and recommendations and was always there to sort out any minor things during installation. He responded very quickly to any questions and provided everything we needed. Would strongly recommend the Howdens Morley branch.

Danny was always on the other end of the phone when we needed his assistance throughout. The kitchen plans were slow at coming together (due to our own issues with the house), however, Danny remained on hand, and was happy to revisit us at home. Very patient and professional. Thanks for your help - we are very pleased with the results.
