Crap kitchens and pensioner robbers
Crap kitchens, this is Peterlee howdens moto, rob pensioners of their money, alan smith is a liar and fobs you off ten months of promises and not a thing done, I don’t know how he sleeps at night, he is probably counting the money he has robbed off an 86 year old man, they give you all lies when you go and see about a kitchen, they said banks joinery was good and they weren’t, what they don’t tell you is you will get a kitchen you can’t use, big holes in your walls, hob doesn’t work, tap doesn’t work, drawers don’t work, can’t open cupboards, no shelf under hob, chips in units, extractor fan isn’t installed properly and quartz not installed great, we are still waiting for a refund for the quartz we didn’t receive and all the cut outs, howdens peterlee can’t be beaten on price, they can’t cause they give you crap.

7 month on still kitchen is not finished, shame on this company
I had a kitchen fitted by howdens on the 23rd of 0ctober and I am still waiting for it to be finished, the tap is broken I have had two, if I could get a new one then this will be my 3rd, the hob doesn’t work and I was put a ceramic hob in when I asked for an induction, I have only used it once and it is scratched to bits and after two and a half hours when it eventually boiled the potato I burned my hand as I didn’t know they stayed hot and I also can’t switch it on because of my arthritis in my hands even the manager who came out had trouble, there is no shelf under the hob so if I could use it, I risk burns or electrocution, the drawers don’t open and shut properly, the extractor fan hasn’t been installed properly, they have not put a hose to the outside and the steams pours out of the cupboards, there are holes in the walls, the skirting board fell off, there is a gaping hole above the sink what they haven’t blocked off with mdf, there are two small chips in the large unit, we have had to get rid of mice they let in leaving the doors open, they ate the dogs £20 bag of food that I had just opened, I told the howdens manager and was told I had to sort it out even though I told him there was know way I could get down to get the kick board off so it cost me 24 pounds to get the pest control man out, the worst bit is the quartz, that has been put on wonky, we paid 2600 for a tiny bit of quartz that is more expensive than diamonds, the manager came out and looked at it and is trying to fob us off said “we” can get someone to put a wonky shelf to cover the wonky quartz, he said he would get it all corrected in January and give us the left over quartz that we should have received, what he said had been thrown out, however 7 months on and we are still waiting, my dad is 85 years old and he paid his life’s savings for this kitchen to make life easier for me as I am chronically ill and this kitchen to me is worse than the one I had, my dad has said that we should get it taken out and get a refund, I like to know how to make a complaint to trading standards

I had a kitchen installed by howdens…
I had a kitchen installed by Howdens Peterlee three months ago and we still can't use it, my dad is 85 and I am disabled, we paid 12000 for something we cannot use, Alan smith came out to see what was wrong with the kitchen three weeks ago and we still haven't heard anything back, I have emailed him but its been radio silence, still no refund for quartz that we didn't receive, the hob is broken, the tap is broke, the extractor fan not installed properly, I read the hob manual and there is supposed to be a shelf under the hob to stop scalding and electrocution and that is missing, the quartz is installed wrong, holes in the walls, chips in unit, drawers not opening and shutting, we got a new kitchen to make our lives easier and we have been robbed by Howdens a big company, I have been left with a kitchen worse than I had it before, how can they treat their customers like that, I feel so bad that its affected my health so bad

I Had kitchen fitted by howdens…
We had a kitchen fitted by howdens peterlee on the 23rd of October and still waiting for it to be finished, the first thing was the design was wrong so the kitchen fitters couldnt fit it to the design, I have had two taps on still waiting for 3rd to be fitted as the fitter broke the second one, had engineer out to fix the extractor as the water was gushing out of the units it took me 7 hours to clean the mess, the engineer said it hadn't been fitted to the outside, he said it was useless, I also asked him to look at my induction hob because it took 3 hours to boil two potatoes and a hand full of cabbage only to be told that you can only use one hob at a time and that it's not an induction hob it's ceramic, I had asked for induction hob and one that doesn't scratch I have only used it once and it is scratched, I can't understand why they would put a hob in like that when they knew that I am disabled and my dad is 85 years old, my dad had saved that money for 35 years for this kitchen, nobody would ask for a hob like that, we paid 2600 for quartz work top to be fitted that has been put on wrong, the people who came to fit it were 3 hours late they didnt get to the house till 5.30, it took them half an hour to put in, we paid for 6 square meters and we have got half that, we had to pay for £70 for cut outs for the hatch the sink and hob and they have kept the cut outs, where they had to re position the units I never received the quartz for there and I am left with holes in the walls, the drawers sometimes open and there are chips where the oven has been put in, I have emailed howdens, my dad has been in to see them and we are just getting nothing back, once they have your money looks like customer care goes out of the window, 14 grand for a kitchen I can't use, I wish I had gone to a decent company that cares about its customers, its been a rotten Christmas worrying about this kitchen, not only that we haven't been able to cook Christmas Dinner we had to have a microwave meal, I emailed them on the 9th of December and I got an email saying he had to talk to his manager, it must be a long talk, not only have we now not got a working kitchen we don't have the money to get it put right, the stress has made us both poorly

I had a kitchen fitted with howdens and it cost over 12 grand and everything has gone wrong with it, you email and you get no response, I asked for certain appliances and I received bottom range goods that don't even work, the quartz was put on wrong and I still after 6 weeks haven't received a reply its disgusting, they don't give you a run down of what you will receive or how much each item is, I cry myself to sleep every night its made me feel suicidal
