Great Service, Very Happy.
Ian and Wayne at the Sandown showroom were great, always helpful and very patient as we worked through several designs and colour schemes over a period of several months. Cannot fault Howdens service or the quality of their kitchens, staff are very knowledgeable about the various ranges and are genuinely interested to work with you and your fitters to achieve the desired end result.

Standard of material was appalling…
Standard of material was appalling dirty, filty, carcases and covered in glue residue from assembly. Having to spend time removing glue and cleaning brand new material is wrong maybe the odd bit but not the majority. The construction of some wall unit carcases differing bottom shelfs set back and up show gaps when the cornice is fitted (it is a shame I cannot load images to explain better) not impressed with the standard at all. This review is not aimed at my local branch in anyway the service I receive from Rob and his team from design to delivery is second to none, that is why I have stayed with them for 20years nothing is ever an issue. I will continue to advertise my local branch to my customers due to the way they are also treated and put at ease throughout the initial process.

Started off positive when a sales rep…
Started off positive when a sales rep came round and got back to me with a quote to supply a kitchen. Once i placed the order things went downhill. I was delivered incorrect items then an attempt to charge me more for the items I originally wanted. I was given a date for delivery (£100 fee) but only certain things turned up on that date and had to wait for the rest. The designer didn’t realise I couldn’t have a double oven under my induction hob so I had to settle for a single oven after the order was delivered. Also when I wanted to question the prices of things I asked for an itemised bill but had to ask 5or 6 times as prices weren’t adding up (turns out they were still trying to charge me £200 more for the sink than quoted) These guys must be on commission and only seem interested in getting a sale and charging figures that seem to just come out of thin air. Also watch for the small items £37 for a kitchen waste p-trap!? The kitchen looks nice once fitted but I could’ve got something just as good from B&Q or ikea at a fraction of the price. Make sure you go through all the prices with a fine tooth comb before the order and after they invoice you!
