Excellent service from start to finish
We’ve just had our Howdens kitchen fit completed. Our experience was so positive. Will Parkinson was so helpful from his home visit to measure up, to designing our kitchen and being so responsive and patient when we wanted to make some changes. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We now have our dream kitchen and would highly recommend Howdens Wakefield.

Has anyone else had this problem?
Wakefield branch were excellent when I wanted a new oven. Ordered the oven and found an electrician to fit it. However, has anyone else had this problem - only Lamona products will fit the cavities? When the oven in my Howdens kitchen went bust I ordered a replacement from Curry's. On arrival it became obvious that the replacement would not fit the cavity and neither would anything else when we enquired. The kitchen is only six years old. And of course its trade only.

Great designer
I recently ordered a kitchen from Howdens Wakefield. The designer was Faith Selley. I'd like to take this opportunity to say I can't thank her enough for her support and patience through the whole experience.Faith went above and beyond to support me through the process. Even after the sale was complete Faith always made time to help with any issues I had and nothing was ever too much trouble. The kitchen looks fantastic. I believe Faith has now moved to a different Howdens and I wish her all the best for her future endeavours.Kindest regards Sandra Thorne

Reneging on offer.
While Howden's did me a favour by suggesting I use Carriss Builders, as a retired Customer Services Manager I am disappointed at their lack of attention to detail and the level of customer service they provide. At the beginning of November I agreed a plan with Howdens for my kitchen, and as a sale was on, I arranged for it to be delivered on 11 November to take advantage of free delivery plus complimentary Air Fryer. On checking the invoice I noticed the waste bin was missing from the list and a 30/70 split cabinet had been ordered to fit a 50/50 split fridge-freezer. These matters were rectified and after paying the invoice on 6 November I waited for delivery. When nothing arrived on 11 November I telephoned Howdens who at first said nothing was down for me, but when I insisted I was told they were very busy due to the sale and they only had one van (!) and therefore my delivery had been put back to the following week as had been agreed with Carriss. I knew nothing about this but was assured the original sales order still stood. When the units were delivered there was no Air Fryer. Apparently they had "run out", but I should receive one the following week. When one did not arrive I was simply told I did not qualify for one. As this complaint is obviously not about an Air Fryer as I could afford one myself, it is about the principle of Howdens offering 'enticements' to buy and then reneging on their promise one they have the customers money.
