Absolutely amazing experience designing and buying a kitchen from Howdens Wolverhampton. The whole team are knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone in need of anything kitchen

Amazing Products, Staff and Service !
I have received an email as a reminder to leave a review. I have already completed a review separately but more than happy to do so again. Amazing kitchen, amazing service from everyone in particular Mani, thank you for helping us with the design and Rosie for your help with a final choice of doors. Al staff are excellent but I can’t recall names. I will be returning to have our dressing room re fitted and I have recommended.

Kitchen remodel and refit
Went to Howdens Wolverhampton for a complete kitchen and utility remodel and replacement. Mani was our designer and helped us every step of the way, very responsive to queries and changes. Like with any big job there were a few things that needed attending to during the fitting, but Mani and the team were always super helpful about sorting things out quickly and with no fuss. I would recommend this branch of Howdens to others undertaking similar job, there was no pressure sales approach only competent advice and experience.

Exceptional service and products
We recently moved to a new property which needs a complete refurbishment. We decided one of the most important rooms was the kitchen. We booked an appointment with Mani, who visited us, we discussed our ideas and she measured our kitchen. Several weeks later we discussed our plans and ideas. Mani was exceptional, in planning our new kitchen when we visited Shaw Road several times and Rose has also assisted us, again exceptional service. Our kitchen is currently being fitted and we are so pleased. People are always quick to complain but not quick enough to compliment and say thank you. We will be doing our dressing room soon and we will be calling Mani for her advice. Mani and Rose are both based in Shaw Road Wolverhampton. Thank you both for your help! Mark and Karen Bateman

Jon Hill visited us from Howdens Wolverhampton yesterday to do measurements of our kitchen area. He was efficient, friendly and very professional. He made some great recommendations and was a real pleasure to have in our home. It makes such a difference to have a friendly gentleman who communicates well.

Court case looming!
I purchased replacement timber doors, a few new units and new quartz worktops. My kitchen is a two colour design with reed green base and porcelain wall and full height units. All the porcelain doors where poorly finished with paint missing ( not sprayed properly) in the grain so there is unpainted wood exposed only on the centre panels mainly, on there chilcomb range. Only one door was fitted (no handle) out of 11 doors. The Wolverhampton shaw rd depot manager agreed with the issues and said she will sort it out and said the quality of the finish was very poor after receiving a lot of photographic evidence from ourselves. The support service was poor initially but when Ella the manager got involved it improved. They ordered a new set of doors, for the manager to find the same problems, so I didn’t receive this new patch. The manager said she was going to elevate the issue. They then organised a so called “special order “ I was asked to come into the store to check the quality, my wife and I finished work early and went the following day to find they were as bad as the ones I already had. The Manager stepped away from communications with me at this point and passed it to her assistant manager, which wouldn’t have been a problem, but Ella stated she will be dealing with it and no one else will be involved, this was due to the very poor service i received in the beginning. We have been waiting patiently for 5 weeks with only half the doors fitted in our kitchen. I received a call from the assistant manager today saying they were unable to do anything further to resolve the problem and advised that I contact customer services……….!!!!!!! We fulfilled our side of the contract of purchase by paying for it. How can a company that promotes quality products and misrepresents there goods ( shop sample is painted fully) brochures show perfect paintwork on doors, wash there hands of the issue at store level. All they said was we are so so sorry!!! We can’t resolve it! This is as far as have got to date, I was told customer services would call me today…. They didn’t. I’m a fair person, mistakes happen… it’s how you go about resolving them is important. Surly a company as large as you would like to supply quality items in a competitive market environment! I hope I will be able to amend this article in the near future. It is really down to howdens though. After this review Howdens repainted the white doors again to an 80% improvement. Then refused to do anything further. The manager got very upset, stating she had done everything she could do, but she was getting no support from howdens. Small claims proceedings followed with mediation the first stop. All that Howdens offered as a solution in mediation was a refund of the white porcelain doors when I returned them!!!! This is the solution from a so called leading kitchen manufacturer? Understanding I have half my kitchen in reed green doors and the other half with no doors as I was told if I fit the poor quality doors it would be taken as excepting the quality. It is now late June, this project started January. Awaiting a court date.

Awful customer service
Awful customer service. Tried to return item after a week, unopened in package and was refused even with a receipt for item. Standards of customer service have most definitely gone downhill. I won't be making any more large purchases ever again. Or any for that matter.

The customer service is appalling…
The customer service is appalling ordered a kitchen with a pull out larder door they set an opening door pull out larder tried to get this resolved for months I had to keep chasing them in the end they would not replace with the unit I ordered. Don’t use the Wolverhampton branch
