The kitchen in Sophie’s 1920’s semi-detached property in York featured worn-out and wooden cabinetry that was in desperate need of a refresh. It was also cramped, with very little storage that made the space hard to navigate, especially during family mealtimes. The old design also made it difficult to multi-task, and as a busy mum, she wanted a space that brought the whole family together in one room.

The sandstone shade of Sophie’s new design offers a fresh take on neutral tones, and when combined with the matt finish of our Hockley collection, she created a soothing backdrop that matched her Scandi style. Working closely with her trade professional, she also reconfigured the layout into an open-plan area that brought family activities, such as cooking and dining. With plenty of storage solutions too, she was able to transform her cramped space into a clean and clutter-free kitchen.

Providing cold, warm, and boiling water straight from the tap, this Quooker device combines many functions in one fixture, which helps to speed up cooking or tea rounds, and replaces cumbersome equipment, like kettles, from counter areas.
