Taking to the skies

Lee Smith, a designer at Howdens in Huntingdon, took to the skies for a good cause...

Sibson Airfield, Peterborough

His sponsored skydive, which he embarked on with his colleague Chris Oakley, has raised £11,000 for Cavernoma Alliance UK. This charity supports people affected by cavernomas, which are clusters of abnormal blood vessels that can bleed in the brain, causing symptoms such as headaches, weakness, numbness and strokes.

Lee's young son has the most serious form of cavernomas, so the charity is very important to him. His fundraising efforts continue.
