Add these Lorient intumescent strips to fire doorways to increase the protection against smoke and flames.
These 1metre-long strips are placed into the frame of fire doors to protect rooms from damage. Made from hydrated sodium silicate, this material expands under intense heat to create pressure around the door, forming an additional seal, whilst the evaporating water can cool the area around it. All Lorient intumescent strips come tested in accordance with British Standards for safety.
