A Whole Home Makeover With Georgina

Featuring a five-room renovation, this whole home makeover with Georgina is a masterclass in how to elevate several spaces in a property to create a family-friendly and fashionable set-up. As an interior enthusiast, Georgina wanted to put her own stamp around the home that she shares with her husband and children. By taking advantage of Howdens’ wide product collection, she has combined on-trend accents, practical furniture, and enduring elements throughout each area, to create a harmonious home aesthetic that is packed full of room inspiration.

            About Georgina

Georgina took on a big renovation when she transformed her rundown bungalow into her forever home. After working with Howdens on her kitchen renovation, she trusted us to redesign her whole property, which included a new utility, office, living room, and dressing area.

Georgina wanted a high-end cooking area that would look stylish for many years to come.
            • Stately door style

With a classic frame, solid-timber build, and decorative beaded detail,  Elmbridge was Georgina's first choice for crafting a long-lasting scheme.
            • Sophisticated surfaces

Continuing a premium style, she chose bespoke quartz counters that were made-to-measure. These were custom-fit for her home, elevating the design.

Offering a dedicated space for household tasks, Georgina’s laundry room keeps clutter and mess out of sight.
            • Practical colours

By opting for dark-blue units, Georgina can disguise mess between cleans. She also coordinated her door-fronts with the Elmbridge cooking space.
            • Bright accents

Her bright, nickel hand-pulls catch the light to lift the dark palette. Supplied in a cup design, they have a heritage look that continues Georgina's stately theme.

In her study, Georgina was looking for a functional layout that would promote productivity.
            • Neat and organised

Adding drawers allowed Georgina to keep paperwork and stationery neatly stowed. This reduces clutter and distractions, so she can focus on the job at hand.
            • Timber texture

By introducing a natural-wood desk, Georgina created a study centred on positive well-being. It also extends the high-end style found throughout her home.

Movie marathons are a favourite pastime in Georgina’s household, so her living room needed plenty of storage.
            • Custom-made style

Using the same shaker units as other rooms gives Georgina’s media centre a handmade look, while the deep tone offers a home cinema effect.
            • Making it match

To connect different areas of her house, Georgina chose brass knobs like those found in other rooms. The gold tone lifts the dark design for added warmth.

Having a place to get ready and organise her favourite outfits was important to Georgina, so she created a bespoke dressing area.
            • Keeping it classic

Georgina extended her timeless theme using Elmbridge fronts, once again. This time she chose a porcelain tone to keep the room looking bright.
            • A custom closet

By mixing different units, Georgina created a bespoke storage solution to house all her clothes, including towers for dresses and drawers for small items.
