Softwood Doors
Softwood doors are typically made from pine, and are used inside a home. They come ready to paint, stain or varnish, giving lots of choice on finishing the look. If a natural style is preferred, a simple coat of oil can be applied to enhance the appearance of knotty designs and to protect against wear and tear. The lightweight nature makes softwood doors quick and easy to install, reducing the time it takes to fit and hang into place. Some styles also include laminate cores, which make them resistant to warping and twisting, for a longer life. Those with glass insets or sheets can be used to share light between rooms, helping to lift the feel of dimmer spaces. There are a number of sizes and widths on offer, so they can be fitted into a home with the minimum amount of trimming.
