My experience was brilliant from beginning to end. The planning was easy and Pete was really helpful. The delivery was prompt and punctual and the fitters ( recommended by howdens) were efficient punctual and perfectionist . A really positive experience. Thank you.

I ordered an item over the telephone…

I ordered an item over the telephone from the Aberystwyth depot and explained I was unable to collect it for a couple of weeks. Some time after placing the order a lady from Howdens, who was in the area, kindly delivered the item to our address. It was a very kind gesture and much appreciated. Thank you.

Ridiculous

Recently got a quote for new kitchen cabinets. (Shipley branch). Approximately 15 cabinets, works tops and 3 appliances. Got the shock of my life when the quote came through. £17000 in total, and that's before all the work like plastering, electrics new lighting and fitting etc. they wanted £9000 for the cabinets alone and they're made of chipboard. Went to IKEA and the kitchens are basically the same and got quoted just under £7000 including work tops and appliances (whirlpool) And they're decent quality. Don't know what's going on with Howdens, but their pricing is ridiculous. Update - as you can see, received a reply from Howdens. So sent contact details as requested. Heard nothing yet from them, over a week now. In the meantime, the builder who introduced me to Howdens gave me a quote. But due to Howdens silly pricing he's not going to get the job now until I source a reasonably priced kitchen supplier. Or maybe I'm just out of touch with how much things cost these days. If that's the sort of money you have to pay, then I'll just keep my old kitchen. Update 2 Another few weeks have gone by now from update 1. Have I been contacted after sending my contact details, as requested, take wild guess. They're all in it together, it would seem. Would I recommend these cowboys, take another wild guess.

Kitchen Purchase

We had a really good experience when purchasing a kitchen from Howdens at Aberystwyth. Peter was very helpful and professional and assisted greatly in planning the kitchen. He also assisted with the measurements and storage until we were in a better position to accept delivery.
