Excellent staff and order processing. The only downside is that Howdens don’t have their own delivery service, the charge for using their preferred courier is so expensive.

Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable. They knew their products in great detail. Visited our house for new kitchen and flooring. Were very thorough and the result is a very much more useful kitchen and it looks better too.

Everything from planning to the end…

Everything from planning to the end result! Gemma came out to run through suggestions and plan my new kitchen - she completely made me feel at ease and is a credit to Howdens. I then visited Howdens to see my new kitchen and was blown away with Gemma's ideas. The team, Ryan & Matthew, Mark & Blake, Mikey & Ross were all amazing at what they do, professional and cleaned up - would highly recommend them all. The end result - stunning new kitchen which has been completely transformed. Thanks again Howdens and team

Design of new kitchen

Attended at the Ardrossan branch to view their range of kitchens. While there we met Danielle and she took us through their range and arranged a home visit to measure up. Following the visit she produced drawing and we subsequently purchased a kitchen and flooring at a competitive price. Danielle was very helpful and would encourage us to use the branch for any future renovations.

Very professional but personal service

Right from our first call to ask how we go about getting advice and design for our parents kitchen, the service we have received has been excellent. Danielle has been extremely helpful and very caring and understanding. Our parents are elderly and Danielle has taken all that on board, advising best options to improve things for them in their kitchen. Home visit to measure up was great and she spent a lot of time chatting through our concerns and showroom visit was the same - she was very patient and helpful, nothing was a bother. The timescale for getting plans drawn up and pictures was excellent too, only a matter of days, which has been great. The whole process so far has put my parents minds at ease, as they know they are in good hands. Thank you.

Staff friendly and helpful

Staff friendly and helpful, David looked for tools and equipment and brought a variety of goods to choose from. He went to the store area and uplifted the items ordered and brought them to pick up area. Went above and beyond to help customers.

We have been dealing with Ashley…

We have been dealing with Ashley specifically, in the Ardrossan branch for all of our projects over the last 2/3 years and we can't sing her praises enough! She is a great designer and comes up with great ideas/layouts. She also has the patience of a saint for dealing with us as customers. Every staff member in the Ardrossan branch are lovely and super helpful. We always look forward to a visit! :)

Outstanding support from Ashley at Howdens

Ashley has been absolutely fantastic throughout the design and planning process for our renovation. From the kitchen layout to helping with wardrobe and staircase detailing, Ashley brought both creativity and technical knowledge to the table. She was always available for a call — no question ever felt like too much trouble — and her attention to detail ensured everything came together beautifully. Her product knowledge is exceptional, and she offered smart, practical advice that made a real difference to the final result.
