customer service fallen off the cliff

been a trade customer for a few years, must have spend 50k plus visited before xmas to order c4k of oak internal doors, give my account detials to be told account closed, when asked why, told maybe you didnt pay an invoice, it's a cash account I say, so can you quote for doors, no! Can we open reopen the account, no! Call after to speak to manager, he's off until the new year, can you have him call me, guess what no call. When over the road to Benchmark, ordered 4.5k of doors and are now proceeding with a 20k kitchen, the bicester branch of Howdens really need to get their act together, will not be using them again, would estimate with projects planned over the bext 18 months that c100k lost in business, very happy with Benchmark and been told they have had a few ex Howdens customers move over to them due to the poor service from the Bicester branch. I know that this review will be followed up by the standrad, "we will look into this internally" clearly from the volume of 1 star reviews "looking into" has not inproved matters

From start to finish, the team has been knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was right. I would thoroughly recommend Howdens Bicester. Great service, design and follow through once the kitchen installation started. Jackie in particular has been so helpful, answering questions and listening to us at all times in the design and installation process. Reasonable cost for a high quality kitchen.
