Very Poor customer service

We purchased a kitchen from Howden’s before Christmas and immediately encountered issues with the dishwasher, including leaks, excess steam, and poor cleaning performance. Researching the model confirmed these were common problems. When I raised my concerns, a team member dismissed them, claiming it was the UK’s best-selling dishwasher and that issues were to be expected. That response was completely unacceptable—I did not pay for a faulty product. The bigger issue, however, is Howden’s Blandford’s appalling lack of communication. Despite chasing them since just after Christmas, their responses have been slow and unhelpful. I’ve had to follow up repeatedly, yet they keep telling me they “thought it was sorted,” exposing clear internal miscommunication and a disregard for customer service. Howden’s customer service is shockingly poor and unworthy of a company with a Royal Warrant. They do not deserve that accolade. I would not recommend Howden’s to anyone—what was once a reputable company has clearly gone downhill. If you’re looking for a kitchen, go elsewhere.

Went in, acknowledged, purchased a fridge freezer. Was available, so took on the same day. They helped load the van. Great service. Thank you.
