Cheap Doors sold at premium price

We bought 3 Oak effect doors from this branch, they were not cheap, over £300 each, all 3 arrived unfinished with nail holes around the glazing trim. I complained that we didn't purchase these doors with the intent to make good after the fabricators, this was rebuked by management stating that the finish of the doors was acceptable by them. A further complaint was raised about the foil finish delaminating, this was also rebuked saying this was our fault/problem as it had happened after delivery. In my view these doors are cheap, badly fabricated and certainly not worth the money we were charged for them.

The worst Howdens in Bristol

I've been dealing with this branch for a while but enough is enough. They all seem nice but apart from the guys in the warehouse most others working there are clueless. The manager just before Christmas knowingly backed me into a corner knowing that I needed to finish a kitchen (instead of helping me out) and then lied about the hinges he sold me working with push latches (they sell unsprung hinge kits with a push latch). Blum specify non sprung hinges with push latches. I will not be using Howdens again and I will look elsewhere for my kitchens, joinery and hardware .....
