The busines is always open at the times advertised, and there is always someone in or near the office. If I have a question that needs a specific answer there's always a 'specialist' available to discuss with and get expert advice. My skills and knowedge are in different areas but I appreciate the skills of the team in Howdens Buxton.

Howdens replaced faulty worktop.

UPDATE: 3rd February 2026 Original Review posted 28th October 2025 For most of 2025 Howdens had refused to rectify a manufacturing flaw in our quartz worktop supplied and fitted by them. However, almost out of the blue, we were contacted by Howdens towards the end of the year and the offer to replace the worktop was made. In the end the issue was dealt with properly and all of the professionals we had dealings with were great. Such a shame it had to be so hard to ultimately get the issue sorted. Thanks to who ever it was that made the decision to deal with this issue honourably and our thanks to everyone involved in getting this matter sorted, from the call centre team to the fitters, template guy and any managers that made this happen from behind the scenes. We are now happy with the outcome and have improved our rating as a result.

A great experience

Renovating a full house can be challenging, and at some points very stressful. Working with Howdens Buxton on designing the kitchen meant some of that stress was alleviated. We worked very closely with Leah and Josh, and no request was too big or too small, even when we decided to go for a completely different design at the last minute. We look forward to working with Howdens again on a future project.

Great job all round

The kitchen designer did a great job and we got a great price. The only issue was that the delivery date got mixed up at Howdens, but was resolved, which didn't impact on the project.

Howden Buxton

I get alot of kitchens and it's crucial that the order is right. I've tried other kitchen suppliers and they do not compare to Howdens Buxton. The Buxton branch are always very helpful and always there to help if changes occur in design and fitting. Emma is an absolute star and I know I can trust her to get my order right first time and to offer every bit of help Howdens can to make everything a smooth stressless experience. Thank you guys at Howdens Buxton, much appreciated.

I am very happy with my kitchen, Bobbi the designer was knowledgeable and helpful, went through all options in detail There was no pressure into making a quick decision and everything was delivered in the time agreed Would highly recommend
