Kitchen disappointment…

We are disappointed by the wear on our kitchen. We had it fitted in 2017 so of course it's out of warranty but our worktop is severely discoloured around the sink where there's splashes and it seems to chip easily. One of the cupboards is warping near the kettle although I asked specifically about whether it could withstand this and was assured that it would. We went to Wren and B&Q and considered their kitchens but felt that Howdens quality was better. Don't know what to do now as we can't afford to replace our kitchen every 5 years.

First time buying a kitchen off…

First time buying a kitchen off Howdens, and this in the back of installing an IKEA kitchen elsewhere the fortnight previous. The whole service with the kitchen designer was quick and efficient; maybe took 20 minutes. The quality of the units and workmanship is a step way ahead of IKEA. Delivery was quick and arranged to suit my schedule. The delivery guys brought everything in and nothing was missed off the order. You save a day by not having to assemble the units yourself but I would have liked (or been offered) some more instructions on how to finish the various units, as there were bags of screws and fittings with each one. There is online help and a full installation manual, but it took me a bit of time to figure this out. All in all, very happy with the kitchen and service. Will definitely purchase next kitchen from Howdens.
