I called to place an order and I know I have a discount on my account, the one that brings the prices to the real market price, like wickes and B&Q And I asked for a little extra discount, but all I got told is that I have already received the discount. No negotiable price for traders? I don’t like that!

I’m a regular customer to Howdens

I’m a regular customer to Howdens. The team is always great and helpful. Stock materials are in need of extra supplies, it happens there’s not what I’m looking for and it seems like Howdens is too much focused on kitchens and putting everything else aside. As a carpenter there more I’m looking for , not just kitchens skirting and doors . 1st fit framing timber would be an option. Silicone and athesives are not with a choice as well. It happens That I know there’s not what I’m after and I set my route one way to where I can get all I need in once( prices don’t attract much as well to motivate my route)

Dire Customer Service

The quality of the kitchen is good but the problem lies in the incompetent manager, terrible customer service and warranty that has resulted in over 14 months of frustration. The problems began in March 2025 when the condensing fridge/freezer was leaking from the front of the cabinet. This was reported and a new tray was fitted. Within a short time the problem returned and a different electric company came and said that if it occurred again that the unit would need replacing. To cut a long story short, after more visits and email to the CEO it was agreed to replace the fridge/freezer which was received mid March, a full 12 months after the initial problem. When the fitters came they were unable to fit the new one as the cabinet had blown because of the leakage. As the manager, Stephen, never returned calls I eventually spoke to Alfie who was very efficient. We received a new cabinet on the 25th March 2026. Despite numerous calls to Doncaster York Road branch since receiving the cabinet and fridge freezer we are still awaiting the fitting of the cabinet and appliance. Customer service and warranty resolution are non existent and there has been no communication from the CEO and we are having to go outside to the garage every time we need to access the fridge/freezer. Update 22/04: Manager Stephen spoke to our fitter and promised to call me after his conversation. No call was forthcoming.
