Lucy was so helpful from start to finish! She listened to the brief perfectly and delivered our dream kitchen and utility - thank you so much! Lucy was always there on the end of the phone, or responded quickly to emails when I had queries. She took a huge weight off my shoulders and was always the calming influence. The kitchen units themselves feel very good quality - I also love the colour options with classic designs.

Beautiful kitchens

Beautiful kitchens! super helpful and knowledgeable staff who took the time to come to our house and measure, help us plan and really listened to what we wanted, I felt confident we were in good hands and our new kitchen is perfection, we love it! Lucy listened and helped us plan a beautiful and practical kitchen that works for our family. Superb quality and excellent customer service. I highly recommend!

Excellent design and advice process from Lucy Spice in the Howdens depot in Hook. Lucy was extremely helpful, patient and technically proficient over the several months of the process until we finalised the design. We were very lucky to have Lucy guiding us.

We have recently installed a new kitchen

We have recently installed a new kitchen from Howdens in Hook, which we are delighted with. From start to finish it’s been seamless. The whole process was managed by Senior Kitchen designer Lucy Spice who has been the star of the show. From initial brief, design, project management and ongoing support Lucy has been instrumental in ensuring the whole process has gone like clockwork. Lucy has totally transformed the area with innovative design, cost effective solutions and ease of use. I would totally recommend Lucy to anyone considering changing their home. Thank you Lucy.

Our service and design from Lucy and Simon at Howdens Hook branch was fantastic. A great design from Lucy and she was very quick to make changes and her understanding of our design brief was excellent. Service and delivery was spot on and we are so pleased with our dream kitchen.

Howdens Hook

Howdens Hook have been extremely helpful and professional in their design and customer service. Lucy Spicer was our designer for our bedroom furniture. In the past wen also purchased our kitchen and appliances, also designed with Lucy. The delivery team were also great, being on time and courteous.

EXCELLENT!

Lucy the designer was excellent throughout the whole process. Did everything possible to work within my budget and was professional, efficient and communicated promptly. Delivery was exactly on schedule and again the two young men were courteous and very helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Lucy Spice at Howdens Hook

We were lucky enough to land Lucy Spice as our kitchen designer. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I instantly liked and trusted her. Lucy was very patient with us, given that we had to stop/start our design. I had also heard from kitchen fitters that she was the best Howdens kitchen designer locally which backed my confidence in her. Unfortunately in the end, we went to an independent company who had competitive products/prices.

Great value, solid quality and responsive design service

We wanted a kitchen that provided good value and ergonomic design with our own design tweaks. Howdens initial design came out well against other full fit providers but the material package was a much more competitive cost. In addition, Emilie was very quick to make design mods and requotes and was the only one of several potential suppliers to be accommodating by incorporating a small peninsular we wanted in the design. Overall, the design service was excellent. Delivery of all materials was as agreed and with the exception of only one warped panel that was quickly replaced, everything was as it should have been. Templating for the worktops was very straightforward and the supplier again accommodated a specific curve on one worktop end without any fuss. Very pleased with the look and feel of the final kitchen that has been completed for a very competitive price with no feeling that quality has been compromised. The entire team in Howdens, Hook have always been friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience with Howdens' Lucy, Queen of kitchens!

We moved into our house in 2007 and have never done anything with the kitchen. We took the plunge, and on the advice of a friend from the pub, a kitchen fitter, opted for Howdens in Hook. He put us in touch with Lucy, and she came around to chat us through the options. Lucy was an absolute delight, and how refreshing to deal with an enthusiastic young lady rather than some bloke trying to flog you as much stuff as possible! A few days later, we went to the Howdens showroom, to tell Lucy what we wanted. The amazing software meant that we could see the design in our own virtual kitchen on a big screen in Lucy's office (even our dog was on the screen!). The big day came, when our friend Rich from the pub arrived to clear the old one and fit the newie. The delivery from Howdens was bang on time and in just six days we had an amazing new kitchen and my wife Debbie is over the moon. You know what they say, happy wife, happy life! The fact that Rich and Lucy knew each other was a real plus. If you book from Howdens, ask for Rich, a total perfectionist. Sorry, Way too long a review!

A perfect fit.

I'm a kitchen fitter with nearly 20 years experience, and I can honestly say this latest kitchen I fitted which Lucy designed was one of the smoothest installations of my career. All the measurements were spot on, the order was complete, not a single thing missing. The design looked great, and I was very impressed with the quality of the units and fronts, especially at that price point. All the draw boxes, and hinges were the same as what I'm use to fitting on kitchens twice that price. Big thumbs up and would highly recommend getting in touch with Lucy!

Very helpful and professional.

Lucy was hugely helpful, firstly with some video calls to discuss our options for the space, and then eventually a site visit for final measurements and to show us various items in person. She travelled from Hook up to London as we'd been recommended her by a friend, which really showed her going the extra mile. The quality of everything has been of a high standard and she explained the value of different options very well. Would recommend Howdens and Hook/Lucy in particular.

New kitchen for extensive building project

Lucy was involved with our project right from original site visit and measuring, through many design meetings, communications with the builder, helping with the odd query during installation, through to project completion. Lucy's knowledge, attention to detail, and her consistent availability and interest in listening, advising and helping has undoubtedly made our journey the superb one it has been.
