I had a very bad experience with the Howdens Ilford branch. The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. I expected better customer service from such a reputed company. Very disappointed with the way I was treated and will not be returning to this branch again.

I’ve been using Howdens Ilford for my renovation projects for a while now, and they never disappoint. The team is always friendly, professional, and ready to help with advice or product recommendations. The kitchen and joinery materials are top quality, always in stock, and deliveries are fast and reliable. Rude lady at the counter

We visited Ilford Howden today morning, the lady at the counter was extremely arrogant. My builders had warned me against visiting Howden. No wonder Howdens has such bad reputation for poor customer service!

I got Bobby Karia to plan my kitchen

I got Bobby Karia to plan my kitchen. After initial planning we took home the plan and the quotation. The kitchen was delivered two days after placing the order which was pretty quick as we had already booked the kitchen fitter to start the work. I have good relationships with the staff at Ilford branch and usually they do look after me. Thanks guys.

Ilford Howdens - Highly Recommended!

After weeks of frustration with my local Howdens in Barking—chasing responses, multiple visits, and feeling completely undervalued—I decided to try the Ilford branch on the High Road. It turned out to be the best decision. From the moment I walked in, the team’s knowledge and customer service stood out. On the kitchen side, Shahin listened attentively to my needs and turned around a design that was both thoughtful and quick. On the hardware side, Jak was exceptional—genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful in guiding me through choices on handles, hinges, doors, skirting, and architraves. The entire team is welcoming, professional, and proactive. I’m truly grateful for their support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this branch.
