Great staff
I’ve been using Howdens for around 8-9 months now. From the first time I walked in Stuart helped me set up my trade account for my new business to now they’re excellent. Anything I need I just give him a call and it’s sorted! Quality products as always. Highly recommend the Longbridge branch

Above and beyond service
Went to the longbridge branch this morning to pick up 12 doors and handles dropped on me last minute by my boss, the service was fantastic they didn’t have all the doors and a few handles short, but they were straight on the phone and found the remaining items at another branch so I could have them all the same day.it makes my job so much easier,Top Team thank you Phil

Nightmare
I worked for howdens and I can see lots of points on here with aftercare, delivery, accounts, prices, to many to mention. I wouldn't want to be treated the way the customers get treated, seeing the way they treat their customers and what and how they do things I would be so ashamed, I think its all about sales and targets, as the man from the top says you have to hit your targets this week, then it works it way down, its such a shame really because you shouldn't treat people in that way you should look after your customers as you would like them to return. I have worked in large supermarket chains and never would I treat my customers this way. I felt when I worked here if I wasn't hitting my target then I would be in trouble, its not my fault if people are not answering the phone to talk to me, there wasn't anything else I could do if they didnt want to answer the phone then that was that. and that is how they used to make you feel, if you were having a bad day or you weren't feeling yourself it would be how many calls you made today. Even the builders would get fed up of me phoning them all the time to try and push to buy something, even if it was something so small. I do regret even working for them if I had been given training and help that I required from them then maybe things would have been different. Don't get me wrong I did get training from them but I felt the training that I had wasn't to do my job. It was something different, I did enough for them got the survey and calls out, just wasn’t good enough, I just wished things had turned out different and I didn't feel so angry and annoyed with them for the way they treated me. If I could turn back the clock I would not work for them, I was only there for about 3 months and it was the worst 3 months of my life.
