As always the staff in Howdens deliver a great service. Kitchen design we are working on just now is spot on by Laura. Always great banter aswell from the team - even the big sexy man Rory - when he's not wrapped up like a fish supper and suffering the old man flu.

Excellent Service and Keen Prices from Howdens

I needed 16 oak doors for a customer and a large kitchen. Doors were delivered on time. We had to return a couple that were damaged (manufacturing process) and swap them. Howdens staff were very helpful and the doors were swapped with no issues. The kitchen designer did a great job and really helped my customer get the right products. His hard work and skill really added value to the whole process! The kitchen was delivered on time and my customer is very pleased with the finished product! Very happy with the service and prices from Howdens. Staff always helpful, knowledgeable and products always delivered on time - All good!

Flawed kitchen design

Edited following reply..... A flawed kitchen design, by Howdens, means I can't properly open my new American-style fridge. At least a third of its capacity can't be used. Howdens, specifically their North Muirton, Perth, depot, don't want to know. I won't be using them again and would advise careful checking if you're getting a kitchen designed by them as Howdens can't seem to get it right and then won't admit to or correct any of their mistakes. Fortunately I have a brilliant builder who's taken it on himself to put things right though he is not at fault. The fridge freezer is being sold. Edit: thank you Howdens for the reply. Something I have still not received from your branch. My review here was a last resort having heard nothing for many weeks. I note that you say the design is for illustrative purposes only. That was never made clear to me and the documentation you mention I also have not seen. I have a one-page design plan detailed to the millimeter. Why the designer thought the fridge would fit is beyond me. She physically measured the space and we spent an hour or so together honing the design. Not one mention of the obvious, now, fact that the fridge wouldn't work in the space she suggested. But thank you for confirming my view of your services. I repeat: potential customers should not rely on your design services. I just wonder why you offer a design service at all if it can't be relied on.
