Breaking the law by refusing refund on…

Breaking the law by refusing refund on faulty extractor. We received badly damaged neff extractor and Howdens refused to deal with it, telling me to contact neff direct. After pressing I was told they would ‘contact neff on my behalf’ if I emailed all the details and photographs. This isn’t how the law works. Howdens are responsible. I will now attempt a Section 75 Chargeback and if that fails we will engage a Solicitor. This is awful and completely unnecessary.

I'm glad all the suppliers I use aren't as pushy as Howdens, if they were I'd have to give up working to answer all the phone calls, emails and brochures. Quality of products and price on some items are good, but not always.

Good range of quality products, but slow service

Good range of quality products, usually at reasonable prices. Unfortunately often quite slow service, serveral times am standing at the counter and can see 4-5 staff members sitting at their desk, not on phones just looking at computer screens, almost like it's a competion between them who can get out of serving a counter customer the longest, always polite and friendly eventually though. I only use tham as a last resort because of this.
