Not the most expensive purchase in the world...... But i needed a grey worktop sealant (colourfil) for a job,counter staff went to the trouble of bringing out all the grey variations to allow me to match up to the worktop sample colour to be able to purchase the nearest match Great customer service I thought for a relatively minor purchase

I’ve experienced mixed results with Howdens. The Segensworth staff are friendly and helpful, but their online services lack functionality and support. While the local depot provides good service, issues like unreachable customer service and a broken payment system online bring the experience down. Overall, a decent company with room for improvement.

Dangerous!!!!! Avoid

Dangerous! A “sales person” trespassed into our garden whilst it was being renovated “looking for your builders”. When I confronted him he began trying to give me the sales patter. When I told him to leave, he then proceeded to look inside my trades vans before I confronted him for the second time. We had not ordered from anyone at Howdens. Police were called and he scurried away. Do not trust this company!!

This is not a review based on one visit

This is not a review based on one visit. I have been using Howdens for many years, and in different parts of the country. But wherever I am, I have never had a bad experience with the staff, who are always friendly, courteous and helpful. It seems to be a company standard, and it works well. My local depot in Segensworth is great, with all of the staff seemingly even more accommodating than other branches, if that’s at all possible. Keep up the great work.
