Great customer service, Roger was helpful, provided plenty of advice about products and a real sense of engagement. Nothing was too much trouble, helped with the product selection and suggested other items and ensured I had the various glues etc.

I was advised that our account would close if we didn’t buy something. I was told that there were £1 bargains to keep the account open. However when my business partner went in he was charged a lot more for a saw than the £1 I’d been told was on offer.

Good prices, great staff.

I think the prices at Howdens are generally very competitive and the product range is very comprehensive. The store is always clean, tidy and appears to be well organised however whats more important and impressive to me is the people, without exception all of the staff at the St Austell branch of are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend Howdens
