Being on first name terms with the staff, the friendly welcome, knowing that they will strive to get you the materials/products you need to complete your project on time and should the item need to be ordered in then they will let you know when it’s due in and phone you when it comes on so you can collect it and get on with your project. The prices are generally very reasonable as well as being of great quality so the overall experience is always top notch.

Great value, excellent service every time

Popped into my local branch to buy worktop router bits and mitre adhesive and was treated with the same courtesy and respect as I was when I bought doors or kitchens. The counter staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Tam who I’ve known at the branch for several years. He always greets you and remembers your name even if you’ve not been in for ages

Poor Service

I visited Howdens Stirling on the 23rd July, explained I had sourced a joiner and would like to organise a visit from the design team. I returned a week later to confirm joiners details on the 30th July. I was told a designer would be in touch after speaking to my joiner, after my details were collected on a piece of paper ripped from a pad. I never heard from anyone and am now buying from another company, so poor, if I could give zero stars I would.
