Rip off or not????
Every time I come in, you seem to be more expensive than other establishments, I have to ask you to lower your prices, for example, my recent purchase, your price £13 wickes £9 and I get 10% off, thus becoming £8.10. However you sort of matched the price at £8.16. If you really was on the traders side I wouldn't need to ask for a reduction!!!!!!! Therefore, for me a rip off unless I ask, I shouldn't need to ask, you should be competitive.

I went to another branch and got the manager deal on some doors. I think all the special deals should be the same in every branch so that all your customers can pick up the materials from any branch as it's not convenient for everyone to get back to their own branch. Trade counter team not experienced
Showed the assistant at the counter the exact kitchen i wanted like for like as display and bought, but when i was installing realised i had the wrong handles when i when back to change handles was asked to pay extra, but i had already quoted customer so did not have the budget, i asked for a discount as i believe this was not my fault and we should shear the cost but was refused anything more than my standard discount and had to pay for new handles. Not happy with service at this branch at all.

Purchased a kitchen October 2021
Purchased a kitchen October 2021, Paid up front in full as manager eager for us to pay before the end of the month. Told us prices might change? Got to say our experience wasn't great. Initial delivery was wrong colour and several items out of stock. Emailed but no response, we phoned and spoke to manager, he had seen our email. So he saw our message but didn't feel the need to respond? After several weeks and up to virtually the last few days of fitting - items were still being delivered. Invoice clearly showed what we ordered and paid for BUT had quite a few wrong quantities delivered which had to be returned. We were presented with a bill for around £1000 when kitchen was finished - we actually owed less than £100 for oven housing which wasn't on original quote ( wrong housing supplied but fitter modified it) - all other charges were for duplicate items delivered which we had to refuse or get picked up once we realised their error. Kitchen itself looks great, 9 months on and one of the end panels has split. I got in touch with Howdens but was told its fitters fault? Out of probably 10 end panels one has a fault but Howdens blame fitter ( we disagree) We will purchase a replacement and also need to purchase more of the worktop for a breakfast bar. I emailed our branch 3 times requesting a price but haven't had a response, Summary of our experience; The kitchen we purchased looks great, guarantee isn't brilliant as they won't replace a faulty end panel, and our experience of customer service is terrible! We are trying to spend more money but the branch isn't communicating with us? Obviously don't need our business/money.
